Thank you so much for this video! I traveled to Banff in October and found this incredibly helpful. I decided to get two PCR tests because I was so nervous about not getting them back in time. Totally didn’t need to but kept my mind at ease.
I recommend getting CVS PCR test (so quick) if anyone needs to know!

Traveled to Toronto today drove from Illinois. Had no problems at the border at all, if anything the officer was very relaxed. We had everything prepared vaccine cards, passport, negative covid test and completed the ArriveCAN requirements to be exempt from quarantine. But he didn’t ask for proof of the ArriveCan completed, which I found kind of concerning. Considering they were gonna be strict at the border. All In all had no problems, maybe it depends on the officer. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Our results came out within 24hrs - since we crossed in July, the Canada Border Agency issued new rules that the additional tests were given randomly at travelers, so not everybody will have to do it. But yes, they will be able to pick it up from any hotels.

  • @jeffhoult

If I am randomly selected for a Covid test at point of entry even tho i am exempt from the quarantine and negative pcr test to I have to quarantine until I get my negative results (or were you able to continue on after you submitted the test kit for pick up)

      Hello,
We have had some users with this same issue as well and are working to resolve it at this time. If you would follow the following steps to try resolving your issue:
      1. Uninstall the app and re-install to your device to be sure you have the latest version downloaded (or refresh your web browser). I just installed new app
      2. Once this latest version of the app is downloaded (or refreshed), if you were unable to complete registration, attempt to log in to your account.
      3. You should be greeted by an error message, click on the link in the error message to receive your new verification code to your email. Go back to the app (or web page) and input the code into the box provided. Note: Please be sure to double check your junk/spam folders in case the email was redirected (the email should be from From: do-not-reply@cbsa-asfc.cloud-nuage.canada.ca ).
      4. Should you be past the registration phase and looking for a password reset, please click the “reset password” button on the sign in page, you will be sent an email with instructions on how to reset your password. Note: Please be sure to double check your junk/spam folders in case the email was redirected (the email should be from From: do-not-reply@cbsa-asfc.cloud-nuage.canada.ca ).
      5. You may also attempt signing in to ArriveCAN through another platform to complete your registration and submit your information (Supported platforms online: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge; Mobile: iOS 12 and up, Android 6 and up ): Links can be found at Canada.ca/ArriveCAN
      6. If using a web browser, clear your browsing data (cache), instructions are available online for your browser.
Should the issues persist, if you would please provide me with the following information, and with your consent we will provide it to our CBSA dev team. It would be very helpful in resolving your issue, and we can look into the root issue and delete your former account so that you may re-register:
      - Your full name
      - Your phone number
      - Your email used to create the account
      - The date and time the error occurred
      - The date and time of your entry (or anticipated entry) to Canada
      - Confirm that you have attempted each of the troubleshooting steps
      - Confirm the device you are trying to log in with (ex. Samsung Galaxy A6)
      - The operating system for your device (or browser type if through web)
      - The version of the app you have downloaded (found at the bottom of the menu from the top left button)
      - And any screenshots which you think may be useful to showcase your issue
Thank you for your patience, and I hope we will be able to resolve this promptly for you!
      Best regards,
      Canada.ca/A

Canadians love the USA, half of my family are Canadians and they travel to shop in the USA. The kids prefer the USA to Canada and they watch mostly American TV. The kids says its boring in Canada more excitement in the USA.

Actually makes it more interesting, as you will need to add so many layers of preparation to your simple trip 😂
