Hey, Crendor, fun fact! In Japan there is a style of cooking called shabu shabu where meat is quickly dipped into boiling water to lightly cook it and this is something you might see at a Japanese style BBQ.
This might be sort of what those hot pots of water are for on the tables in the Filthy Animal.
I want to go there just so I can say, "Keep the change ya filthy animal!"

The psychological phenomenon is known as "Pareidolia" which is perceiving images where said image is not meant to be depicted. Most commonly it is seeing faces in things like houses, trees, clouds etc.

Came here to question just that. How do you distinguished between a bbq, cooking fire, campfire and a grill? Bearing in mind most of any of these in the world will be solid fueled.

The towers in Grizzly holls are all MASSIVE smokehouses for tons of plainstriders, or I guess foreststriders (to the point that the zone doesn't actually HAVE any strider mobs, they're all grtting smoked!)
This Top 10 had me quite intrigued. I didn't think there was enough to make a top 10 on this.
#5 raises a good point; the lobster in the pot, which is also present in other secluded areas and items like the Seafood Magnifique feast, has a unique model despite being rigged almost identically to the various crabs found in the game. Sadly, no NPC uses that model, so hunters can't have lobsters as pets. You can get a really good look at the model if you visit wowhead and look at object=206541. This lobster model doesn't have a high polygon count on its model, has a low resolution texture, and has numerous openings in its model (most prominently its mouth).
Top 10 idea; Pointless Ambient Wildlife. There's so many silly little fish and animals that exist as objects and non-NPC entities, yet they don't get any love because they don't exist as something you can touch or interact with. Shoals of fish, birds that appear to peck at the ground and disappear, swarms of fireflies, and so on. Just ambient pixels that fill the space on the screen. Some fish managed to become battle pets, like Blorp and Happy, but there are so many neat little animals that get no love.
The filthy animal has been my favorite Inn in all of WoW since I first saw it back in Wrath, just fits the perfect mental image of what a luxury horde tavern would look like, troll bellydancers and all
When I took my break from WoW, I logged my main out in the Tastes of Zandalar. She chilled in that grill for like 2 years, I bet she had an AWESOME time.

Wasnt there even a cooking quest with the centaur bbq? Iam not sure but iirc there was a quest, where you attended a bbq and the quest npc ordered you around to add spices.
Also as an idea for a new topic: Top 10 sports(events) in wow. Just npc's doing different kinds of sports or sport related quests (Iam especially thinking about the goblin footbomb field right now or the grizzly hills log raft).
