The snippet of the girl crying because she bought herself a birkin was…..sad. It’s ad because there’s so much to life than material possessions, and there’s more to life than a handbag. When I bought my first Chanel, I was proud of myself too but I got over it after 5mins. It’s not that deep, truly especially it’s not worth crying from happiness. Tf.
i think you missed the point of the video. discussing the toxic influence of social media, and the facade that is creating a mental health crisis in our society has nothing to do with me buying a Birkin that I could easily afford to buy and then deciding to sell it because it didn't suit my lifestyle...and yes, i think the mental health crisis is that deep and we need to discuss it.
a very small portion of this video was a paid partnership (it is always disclosed in my description). there is nothing wrong with a genuine integration of a brand i genuinely love and use myself. it is part of my job as a mindful content creator and i only share brands that align with my most authentic self. it doesn't take away from the message of this video and it's saddens me that you have degraded all of the work i put into the video for an "Ad"
