Because it's hard to rescue against a good hell ember, even with merc. Hunter had 2 infernal souls and it's like 3 hits on merc(2 hits with souls and one his normal hit). For example, if Hell Ember was facecamping he would down mercenary really easy. + Don't forget about terror shock. So it's better to rescue that early and if you're lucky that Hunter isn't facecamping or just camping then you won't get hits near chair, like this mercenary did. Accordingly you can go and decode, if you have second rescuer in team.

All players, even the pro ones make common mistakes :/ criticize the skills of a player with only a match of evidence isnt fair. People sometimes think that high tiers and pro players cant make mistakes too...
