I would LOVE to sit on your porch with you one day to talk about ALL your wonderful visitors! You're a GREAT MAN who reminds me of my Dad, who also had a great sense of humor! He & I loved fishing & named his first boat, "Just Fluckin Around" people would laugh & whistle when they saw us from the docks! I grew up in Monroe, CT, in the 60s on 5 acres, and always had different animals. Dad would sit in his chair with a bag of peanuts, and a black squirrel would come and take one gently out of his hand! Mom loved birds so much that she named our street Cardinal Lane! I'm very sorry for rambling on, but since they've passed away, I've been very depressed & lonely, but watching your videos ALWAYS SNAPS ME OUT OF IT!! I adore their beauty. One of my mommas in my yard/woods just had twins... I never cease to be amazed and I get such peace from them. Two weeks ago i looked out on my back deck to see a young doe walking around checking out my plants and chairs etc. She gracefully walked up 7 steps to visit me. I hated having to shoo her away but i was afraid she would come through my bay window. She was more put out than afraid of my shooing.❤Thank your for sharing your lovelys with everyone.

Yep. I was watching 3 deer in my yard about a week ago. One kept perking up and looking across the road. I wondered why. Suddenly all 3 bolted simultaneously. About a iminute latter 2 Black Bears came through the lower corner of my yard.
Me too! I have two hummingbirds that have been here all summer. The female comes right up to me in my chair every morning while I have my coffee and watch Patrick’s videos 😂. It’s a beautiful life!

can you ever drive on your bike or take a walk in this area, without running into a bear? how do you guys handle living in a place where bears lurk all over? i have asked this a lot, and never gotten an answer😄 so i will ask again. i am very curious. 💗
