    No. First thing is to buy an extra low bow (option with groove) hockey stick. Learn to use in general play, then move on to drag flick. At no point have you mentioned the stick profile you are using.

      There are plenty of internationals who flick with a regular low bow - some even mid to low bow sticks. An Extreme low bow certainly helps the action and power of drag flicking, but it isn't a must have. For example Alex Hendrickx uses a LBX shape, a standard low bow with no groove.
