My family and I just got back yesterday. I went every single summer growing up as a kid, and it's my favorite place in the world. I got to take my wife and son and we all had the best time.

I actually work at this schlitterbahn and it is weird seeing the park from this kinda perspective because I've been coming all my life so I know all the in and outs.
I actually haven't been to this park in over 10 years, and my family is going back this summer when my brother and his family come here in July. It's gotten way biggest since I last went. Schlitterbahn is considered one of the best water parks in the nation and you can see why. If the park wasn't over an hour away from my house, I probably would want to get Season passes here since it's cheaper then Six Flags lol. The park is part of the Texas Hill Country, so yeah a lot of up and down walking haha. I can't wait to go back.
Yeah I remember enjoying the Master Blaster more then the Dragon's Revenge too. I can't wait to go back. So your friends were from Arkansas? I am glad ya'll got to have fun together. OMG, I could never do an afternoon flight unless I had to.
I do have one question, did ya'll have to pay for parking? Years ago when I went it was free at the time, but I don't know if that's the case now.
I recommend next time you go to a water park at least, buy one of those string things that hold your glasses. Or you can be like me and buy a water type phany pack like I do lol. I always wear goggles to water parks too because blue eyes + water is never a good thing lol.

I’m so lucky this water park is only 30 minutes away from me, the nearest water park to me was Splashtown San Antonio, i loved that water park, I used to go their since i was 7 almost every 3 weeks or so for 4 years, we got season passes 2 times. Then sadly it shut down and got took down :(((( I was so sad, Splashtown was a small water park but man It was sooooo fun, 3 days ago, we got a 2 day pass, lemme tell u IT WAS FUN. Schlitterbahn New Braunfels is by far the biggest and most fun water park I’ve ever been too, we are looking forward to getting season passes very soon! do NOT go on the weekend! ITS PACKED ASL ON THE WEEKEND, it recommend going on thrusday and Friday which is the days I went on, Thursday is still a little bit packed while Friday was a little bit more packed, If u can, GO ON MONDAY, there will be a lot less people because my sister went on Monday and told me it was not packed really at all, the lines weren’t too long, and a lot more space. so if u live in area of San Antonio in the converse area, I’d recommend going to schlitterbahn new Braunfels. It’s by far the best water park I’ve ever been too, but still, Splashtown will always be in my heart lol

Nope! Not when we went. It was chilly and a little bit of a shock at first but quickly felt amazing

I would definitely look for swimming shorts with zippers on the pockets to put my phone in. Because walking around with my phone on my neck looks super uncomfortable.

I think black knight is the best ride because you can do it multiple times because it’s a kinda short wait unlike all the others which has a minimum wait time of an hour
Thats because the wait is for the tubes
I remember I went to volcano bay and the aqua coaster “ krakatau “ had 260 minutes wait time and it was fun but not worth that long

I was in ur premier a few days ago. I went to bush gardens Williamsburg it was lot of fun. I don’t really like roller coasters but had a blast on a few of them. I rode verboten Apollos chariot and I rode lach ness monster loved all of them I did not ride tempesto griffin or the new one but I would do it in the future
