Does someone know how to connect to the Märklin CS3? I'm just having issues to know witch wire goes where... thanks for your help!

You can connect both track and power the CS3, but it is recommended to connect the power terminal to a seperate 12-16V DC supply.

@@thetrainroom so basically I connect the "Gleis" to the brown and red from the tracks, and then I connect the "Trafo" to a Power supply 12-16V?
And then how does the connection work? Do I need something else or it registers as a DCC comuter? And on witch cv do I find it?
      Thank you very much!

    Hallo!

Thanks for video, what’s your opinion now? Still losing configuration and any additional info about MFX support? Looking to use the qdecoder and mafen signals together with Marklin CS3 and iTrain. Thanks in advance!

I have connected them to and old Märklin Booster which doesn't support Railcom and MFX return channel. I didn't tried it again, as the solution now works. The configuration lost was solved. There is a locomotive address for programming and it is set to default 3, which is an issue when programming a locomotive with 3. I have put another address, so it never lost configuration again. Also a couple of FW updates came along.

no mfx support, but it works very well with CS3 and Itrain

Does it intergate with Itrain or Traincontroller?

It behaves like a regular accessory decoder. I had no problem to integrate it in Rocrail, so iTrain or Traincontroller should not be a issue. I know one gut who is using it with Traincontroller.

yes it does. I also have Itrain, Traincontroller gold and they work very good with Qdecoder
