I was a sophomore in high school when the sixth dropped and god damn it was truly raining diamonds at that time of my life, idgaf what anyone thinks about that album or ICP,it will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart and mind
Im not a huge ICP fan..( a juggalo ) but God damn do I respect the empire that they built from a grassroots movement. They persevered through all the hate and never got defeated.. Mad respect to these men..
I saw the Shockumentary on MTV. It was on in the middle of the day after I got out of school. My friend and I immediately begged my mom to drive us to the store to buy a shit load of Faygo just so we could spray it all over each other. First time I ever learned that they made a chocolate flavor.
I just saw an interview with Marz, he sed J knew he was on another label and they weren't letting him go and eventually J just ghosted Marz. Twiztid backed up Marz story when I asked em.
Never known me and j and so so many othe ninjas out have grown up almost exactly the same way and seen some crazy stuff. Love the book and recording with extra info. WHOOP WHOOP
The only two friends I've had in my adult life were JUGGALO'S. I'm 40, they were there at '22 till '24. I worked at a roofing company with them. Unfortunately, being an adult sucks. It's lonely. But their energy was enough to make me miss them. Thank God my high school sweetheart ended up marrying me at 30yrs old or I'd be going insane from loneliness
The pulp fiction girl died like the pulp fiction character almost did. I hope he writes another book. More of the story of John Kickjazz. Maybe a shaggy book??? Hmmm….
Amazing story! I’m not gonna lie, it’s so inspiring! Couple take aways: 1) J does an amazing Undertaker impression 2) I can’t stop laughing about Jerry Only pushing his meaty meatballs on people
I was at the St. Louis show and saw them do the NWA cover it was so dope , Biohazard was so dope . Krazy bone was fucking amazing. Not a big fan of ICP music after thr malenko era but respect to J and shaggy for sticking to their guns
You and me both brother 😎 been going through this at my overnight job at Home Depot. WHEN IS THE SECOND BOOK COMING?!? I wanna hear everything from 2004-2023. SO much freshness in that period alone!
I remember my sister was going to take me to a show in Chattanooga, TN but the city cancelled the show because they didn't want ICP in their county. Bastards.
The dopest part of the whole book thus far is the WWF story. The cool thing is the wrestling dream finally came true & they came to you. WWF called you. I mean, that's just the sweetest cherry on top of it all. C'mon dawg at 5:10:00, giving absolutely no details on the design process of each joker's card. You're not gonna give Joey credit for drawing them things?! All I get is that the Dark Carnival visited you and gave you a name & image?! I've waited all my life to hear the thoughts and process behind how you guys created those iconic images. If Joey did sketch those, man those images have sold millions of times over with y'all's merch. That's such a huge, monumental part of this story, like a real pillar of ICP, that's just glossed over. Edit: as I fuckin dickishly criticize how Joe forgot details, my guy opens up in ways I never imagined about his weight. Fuck yeah dude. I spoke far too soon. Thank you for this content. I've gotta imagine leading up to the release of Shangri La, ICP had to be thinking it could be career suicide. Once it's out, it's out. And Joe knew it would be devicive, but what if Juggalos outright rejected it? Like completely? I'm sure they thought of that & that's scary.
Shaggs drew them, guided by J's mind. Like telling a tattoo artist what you want. They took inspiration from the following...(If you read this though it's Gona spoil the magic and that's why they never told you.......)......... COC - Homey the Clown skits from the Wayans brothers blue n pink color scheme Ringmaster - a circus ringmaster based on Shaggys art style with gold N black colour scheme Riddlebox - The Riddler from Batman as a snake purple n green color scheme Great Milenko - Wrestler Boris Malenko's face and Zoltan from the movie BIG Grey and Red colour scheme Jeckel Bros - Fireballs with faces in Shaggys art style red n yellow colour scheme Wraith - a US military logo patch red blue and white colour scheme THAT'S why you love them. They are subconsciously recognisable the first time you see them. They go back further as freemasonic symbols but that's a story for another day. By Shaggys art style I mean the style developed in the oldest ICP comics and earlier than that in Shaggy's graffiti as Inner City Posse
That near death experience made the hairs on my arm stand up. Crazy how a near death experience will bring u closer to God. Some people don't get that second chance
@5:22:45 yoooooooooo, I'm drawing a blank at the moment, but who else has spit that very same verse besides Ice T? I'm I'm not just talking about the cadence, I mean word for word, bar for bar.
You don't have to like the music to be able to respect the fuck outta these dudes. They created their whole own world that helps people. More than most can say. Much love to all Juggalos
Everyone I know said you are extremely kind to them. You will probably never read this but I am friends with a lot of juggalos. Never met one that met you and said you were stale.
The stories of hooking up with groupies over the years is interesting. Reminds me of Beyond the Mat where Jake the Snake is describing life in 1980s WWF. What touring was like, constantly meeting women in new cities. Jake would go on to describe how his sex life would get more & more bizarre as the years went on, recognizing how unnatural & unhealthy it was along the way. It's crazy to me as a regular guy that Joe's entire hookup history is post- ICP, maybe with the exception of the girl who took his virginity. That's gotta be a mental mind-fuck and I feel for the dude.
Took me 3 days to listen to both uploads.. but shit i read the book kinda when it came out my brother had it he wasnt as down as i was bak than but at the time that was the only book i have ever read...lmfao.. shit the audiobook was off the fuckin hook.
If Violent J would stop hating on Eminem aka (one of the greatest recording artist's to ever exist) and just admit bro is a legend from another lane I think cool shit could have happened. Your hating bro. That's why they don't like you.

I remember being glued to this book as a teenager. It was one of my precious items, still sitting in storage 🖤👻🎃 🔮🧿🦋
Big Facts. Im 30 Now and Lost Mine Years ago unfortunately. But I'm pretty sure I had my mom take me to my local hot topic to grab it when it dropped.
First thing i bought when i started working in high school
Goddamn Jerry Only going on about "Grandma's Meaty Meatballs" is fuckin killing me😂
I thought he was a vegan, LoL, that shit was funny though. Imagine him shoulder rubbing Jay while Jay is just sitting there fuming.
@@JackAdogoff😂 his brother Doyle is vegan
Facts @@rbcooleo
I liked the bit.. 'I think I'll pass on grandmas meatballs'.. Some funny moments in there!
Him talking about Cheryl Crows ass made my whole fkn month! Stories for life 😂😂😂

This audio has filled me with fresh love
Tales from the Lotus Pod with Marz is AMAZING
I just saw an interview with Marz, he sed J knew he was on another label and they weren't letting him go and eventually J just ghosted Marz. Twiztid backed up Marz story when I asked em.

DEAD END WITH ICP IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE ICP SONGS EVER!!!🤟👹🤟💯💯💯#BODYCOUNT
they should do a move for them like straight outta compton it would be so dope to watch their origin story

Thanks for uploading this ninja
He said he was gonna leave the story about the STI out, but he said it in part 1 already!
I don't blame them for getting confused or mixing up some details
Probably somebody caught it but thought it was funny THAT was the double up and left it. Exactly how I'd do my boys 😂
We itch and scratch and bite your nuts

As an Australian, Kings crossing is infamous in Australian culture as a wild place.
Amazing story! I’m not gonna lie, it’s so inspiring! Couple take aways:

this is why we need shaggs to write a book as well although i know it would be 1000+ “yaknowwhaimsayin” 😂
Shaggs drew them, guided by J's mind. Like telling a tattoo artist what you want. They took inspiration from the following...(If you read this though it's Gona spoil the magic and that's why they never told you.......).........

Riddlebox - The Riddler from Batman as a snake purple n green color scheme
Great Milenko - Wrestler Boris Malenko's face and Zoltan from the movie BIG Grey and Red colour scheme
Jeckel Bros - Fireballs with faces in Shaggys art style red n yellow colour scheme

He did but they couldn't release it because he said "you know what I'm sayin" 937 times lol
3:02:20 His first instinct was to call his mom, that would be mine too. Nothing beats a mothers love man im tellin ya.

today the music industry is all corporate.

Stop blaming ADHD for your illiteracy.

Bro j is wild for that 😂😂😂
If Violent J would stop hating on Eminem aka (one of the greatest recording artist's to ever exist) and just admit bro is a legend from another lane I think cool shit could have happened. Your hating bro. That's why they don't like you.
Yup we lived in waffle Houses lol
lot of misconceptions about juggalos and rock music and shit
Play at 1.5 speed. It sounds like Joe is actuality talking and not just reading
Read the book a long time ago, I do not care for the echo in this audiobook
The religious and homophobic BS aside, pretty good book.
His mom has no idea about the hell her family is in and her and J will burn in as well
Sorry about marlin drackulah I am God shivah Rahab not till I am Shiva God Jesus Rahab marlin is satin
