The zookeeper also prepared pomelo for Jabali and Ringo.
Luckily, Jabali had chance to enjoy pomelo, but Ringo's pomelo immediately took away by mom Iriki.😅😅

The two little rascals are such a blessing for the group. It’s wonderful seeing them taste and enjoy new types of food. And D’Jeeco is an amazing leader, so gentle with his sons.
Awe!!!!!!! poor little Ringo could not get any tasty fruit. So funny Jabali was acting out the big brother pushing Ringo away from his fruit. D'Jeeco is such a loving daddy he even gave Ringo the left overs. whatever this tasty fruit was I hope they get more for us to see them eat with such happiness.Thank you for sharing a happy moment with us xxx
I hate Ringo missing out, however, this has been the same for Jabali (and continues to be if he is not quick enough/smart enough). The only difference is Ringo will have 4 to evade and Jabali only has 3. Ringo will learn as Jabali is finally comprehending the fact that if he wants to get/keep food, he will have to be fast and clever because no one shares. Not even D'jeeco - the meaty part of the rind was eaten when he dropped it and Ringo picked it up.
I was impressed with how fast Jabali slid down the side of the trench when his mother came after his food. He learned that trick from her.🙂
Gorillas are very aggressive when it comes to defending food.😂

Awwwe, Poor Sweet Ringo, all he wanted was a piece of pamelo and he got hit right in the head by his big Bro. It didn’t feel so good so he just walked away 😞. I hope one of the keepers sneaks him a good piece of pomelo, he certainly deserves it, he’s such a good boy❣️

I hate the way they steal food from each other, especially mothers from the babies. But between big bro roughing him up all the time, and getting food taken from him,our sweet little man is gonna grow up to be fierce and quick. Kintaro maintained a good amount of sweetness but he's a whole lot tougher. Lil Ringo is gonna be the same way.
I really hope the keepers sneak him some. Bless his sweet little ❤️

Kinny has learned to be really sneaky! He knows he too fast for mom and dad right now! Probably the only good thing about his enclosure is that he can climb up really fast and out of the way😊
This is nice to see. However, every single time I view these animals, I cannot help being terribly sad that they are in captivity. Yes, they have the space to move around. But that is not the point. They are, to all respects, in a prison when they should be out in the wild. Ironic that we humans have placed them there, in order to protect them from US!

Poor baby. Now if they were in the jungle or not trapped in a zoo there might be numerous chances for this baby to investigate that fruit 😔

One is even seen trying to steal it from one of the boys, even thou they already have pomelo in there hands 🥷(not a shared item, for now)
