Supercharger is win for most of us with street cars that dont have tracks around - turbo if you want numbers and the strip
How good, mum had a bistamissing scorpo back in the day but it didn't have a 1000hp motor with a megaphone throttle body on it. I wish it did!

That belt is slipping its ass out up top. Can hear the blower slow down at 6300rpm and the engine rpm keep climbing.
Surprisingly it made it that far with that lack of belt wrap. Needs another idler and it’ll be heaps better.
So good on an LS1 block and 241 heads! Sporty combo

I had a 81 blue scorpion like that, was my first car I wish I still had it today. had 5speed 2.6L would rev to 7000

sounds like had 2.0 crank in it revvin like that. The 2.0 head used bump compression up lots also. Tio engines Astrons
@@JestaBl1tz I'm not sure but mine had stuff done to it, sketchy details from old owner. Magna head ? It def had a cam an Webber's tho but did 7000 also
I think they rev alright for capacity/cylinders
My 81 Sigma 2.6, 5 speed made max power at 4400 rpm.

Love the Scorpions... and the 2.6L Astron what a ripper then added a turbo and left others for dust, but was so tame when you went to the shops.
We literally JUST watched Marty from Mighty Car Mods realise the turbo everyone said would be the "correct" size for his car was a peaky piece of shit, and he should have gone down at least a size.
People who say "but what about turbo lag?" are living in the 2000s still. You too can have a 2 litre 4 cylinder that makes 500 wheel horsepower and not only has extremely low lag, but extraordinary boost response as well. You just have to be willing to build the base engine the right way, and spend the money on the ancillaries to get the result you want.
Sure, you could have a turbo LS that makes 1000 flywheel horsepower for $20k, but it's going to be a filthy pig bitch on the street. Spend $45k and you'll have a 1000 flywheel horsepower LS that drives in traffic as smooth as silk and then has BULK torque absolutely everywhere whenever you're at the track, any kind of track - you'll struggle to keep tyres on the fucken thing.

How is it naturally aspirated? It has a supercharger on it, that means it is boosted, nit naturally aspirated!
