Clint: in your experience have you had fall on a carbon bike and , was it a worry about unseen damages I.e frame might shatter ? Love to see a video on how you handle situations like this with carbon ?
And, what is a gravel bicycle? The ones that I have seen look like any other bicycle that would suit a variety of purposes. I suspect that it is more marketing speak than actual substance.
Very interesting. I'd be curious to know how your wife likes the sizing. Looking at their geometry charts, the reach seems pretty long compared to other brands.
Ahh Clint...no I wasn't planning on buying a new road bike since most of my Bike budget has been tied up in Mountain Bikes...but a road bike with 105 components for $1400 that's so dang tempting. I guess I will wait for your reviews to see if any problems show up with this brand....
My wife has been so busy lately that she has not gotten out on it much yet. Plus the summers are so hot here. Our really nice riding weather starts in about a month and she will be out on it a lot more then.
Less than 2K for a carbon bike is amazing. Often products from China lack certain amount of quality compared to bigger Brands with more polished offering in terms of engineering and finish. At first look and seeing that there is Shimano group components this bike bike looks like a solid offering! Out of the box, Sava build looks nice! Very interested in this review series. I feel like there is a scale which not really talked about which is a correlation of cycling enthusiast to comfort in price range. But also may play a part in affordability. A highly engaged cyclist willing to be purchase more bike vs a less interested or new cyclist entering the sport. After getting my lady in cycling on aluminum after a few years, she is like.. "why is my bike so much heavier?" Setting up your wife on carbon is a great start out the gate and hoping the ride and fit work well for her!
Someone asked about why gravel bike instead of a road bike? That really is any easy answer. Gravel opens up more roads to you to ride on and for the most part roads with less traffic and safer. One reason I don't ride my Road Bike much anymore is I don't have roads I feel safe on other than if I go to a designated paved bike trail. Clint mentioned in his area there are a lot of gravel roads so it's logical. Gravel bikes are usually more versatile and can go on pavement more easily than vise versa.
That sounds like a great price, so I took a look at the SAVA website and the largest frame size is a 56. That seems like a real limitation for taller riders.
If it sounds to good to be true then we all know what that means. Not trying to be negative but you will never know how much actual carbon is in the frame. Hopefully it doesn’t implode.
Finally reviewing what i was talking about after all these years. Great job.
I knew you would like this 🙂
What is the weight of it? Very nice looking bike for sure.
really looking forward to this review

I’ve never had a bad crash on carbon. I have dented an alloy chain stay before.
Since they call it the hulk…should have made it green 🤔
Hi I have sava F20 is a road bike and believe me it runs great
Clint - It's all good as long as you don't bring e-bikes on your channel lol.
Haha. Too late. He reviewed one a while back...😂
What is the advantage of training on a gravel bike over a mountain bike? I do training runs on gravel with my MTB.
You can ride a gravel bike instead of running?

more aero position, more dual purpose, aka good both on and off road. Better ergonomics for long day in the saddle.

Howd she hold up?

I’ve been enjoying your great videos for years Clint!! Thank you.
Is this that bike that can fit 700x48mm knobby tires?
Tudo excelente. Adorei, exceto, pressfit. Pressfit cria folga. Não confio.

Simply put if your over 5'11" they dont have a bike that will fit you. They only go to size 56.
I'm 6 feet and most roadbike brands recommend a 54 or 56. A 56 in one brand is not the same as in another due to different geometri.
Carbon wheels?
Нет карбоновые на системе ультегро! И прайс где то около 2000 долларов

That is the first thing I noticed as well.

Wow, already prejudge.
