Now that the map size has increased in minecraft for the Xbox Gavin and Ryan should slip a chunk error into the map of achievement city somewhere. The best part would be when Gavin forgets about it wanders into his own trap.
+fadingjedi They don't have as many chunk loading errors anymore, since they got better internet and Minecraft loads faster on the Xbox One. I really wish they could do this, but I think for the most part, they'd know what's going on.
This is, to this day, my favorite trap. Doesn't work in Xbox One Version, but it is still amazing. A little tidbit for you few who will see this: it doesn't not rain or snow on places where bedrock is exposed.
MrDirectorAgent Stuff loads to fast. While with the 360 (and probably Playstation version) even higher end Internets had a chance to miss a chunk or two, the One version Loads very quickly, even on lower end internet speeds. (I went from around 15 with the 360 and 1.5 shortly after the One, long story)
Gav, you should make a Chunk Error in Achievement City and see how many times everyone will die from it. Make it near a popular area in Achievement City, probably near the town.
Make it near their royal palace they use for the king let's plays and then just make a challenge that requires them to go in that direction. See how long they sit in front of it waiting for the chunk to load.
Hey I have an idea that you can do in minecraft, (I just figured this out a few minutes ago actually) Anyway, you can call it "animal yo-yo" or "human yo-yo" or whatever, here is what you do or showcase: Turns out, if you put a lead on an animal and tie it to a fence post it will stay to it, whether or not that fence post is on the edge of a cliff or a certain high distance above the ground. Two options: In creative mode, attach the animal with a lead to yourself and fly upwards, the animal with journey up with you and sort of bounce, but it will stay up with you in the air. Don't let it drop to the ground or else it'll die (except for chickens since they sort of lap about and live). You can go up and down with the animal, using it almost like a yo-yo (which in some people's opinion it's cruel, but you can choose whether to or not to demonstrate it) In any kind of mode it seems, if you place a fence post on top of or to the side a tall building, the animal on the lead, once connected to the post, with sort of hang in the air, again kind of bouncing, To put this to a more fun extent, if you tether a pig with a saddle or horse with a saddle to the fence post, you can ride it while it bounces, thus bounce with it. That's why is could be called the "human yo-yo". Either way it's an interesting idea and feel free to play around with it as much as you like. Anyways, thanks to all of the Rooster Teeth staff for making all of these videos. P.S. I hate to post all this information in a comment on this video, but I wasn't sure where I was supposed to send it to. There probably was a link somewhere on the Rooster Teeth site, but my computer is having its troubles with all sorts of different websites, including yours, for no obvious reason. Again thank you and sorry for the length. Good luck!
von buena Oh really? I didn't know that, thank you for telling me. Sorry I play on PC. i forgot there were differences between XBox and PC versions. Thank you :) Even still, if they liked the idea, they could still do it if they wanted to, but of course, it's up to them whether or not to do this idea so, but either way, it's up to them. But, really thank you for telling me.
I did this to one of my friends, but I filled the bottom with water, and he didn't notice that. So when he fell he was just trapped down there with a map. I enjoyed it... he didn't. lol XD
Ah, that clears things up, thanks. I wasn't quite so skeptical when I first played it, though. My best bro told me it was "digital crack" so I took a leap of faith.
i like how you can clearly see both sides the good one and the bad one by seeing if its flagged spam. It doesnt always work though people have there own thoughts.
TrophyHunter99 Why? The whole idea with this is they're not looking all the way down, they'll just see the sides halfway up, which is why you make it look real. If they're looking down at the bottom, then they're either in mid fall to their death, or have spotted the danger.
I've gone through the process of carving out a chunk, except it was 40x40 and I made it into a tower that swayed the sky. After creating the tower I filled it with a labyrinth full of prison cells, torture rooms, and traps and after that putting certain items in chests hidden on random floors that would help you escape. Then I appropriately named the tower Tartarus. Oh? Yeah, I like this idea much better.
I actually made this like a month ago on my server, wish i coulda told them about it sooner so i coulda taken credit, but I'm glad they thought of it as well :)
One block high water only gives no damage from a certain height. It would work in this case because the fall is so high, and a single layer of water wouldn't be able to break the fall.
I'm fairly certain he knows what it is, it is to the point where Minecraft is so popular you cant really not know about it if you use the internet, especially as much as he does.
Look at 0:58. They can break bedrock, and they do. They just leave some at the bottom because the splat is more satisfying than having them fall into the void.
Just so you know RUclips started in 2005. And also another fact, there were places to share videos before RUclips you know. RoosterTeeth started off elsewhere and simply migrated to RUclips when it went big
I haven't been playing minecraft nearly long enough to understand even half of that but it sounds right. Just got the PC version last week, so I guess I'll see in due time.
You're right, but take in mind that while you're running you're going to be thinking it's just a chunk error and keep moving, you don't really have the time to look down and notice there's bedrock, the idea of this is making a little prank, but mostly people won't notice that little detail so I think people will fall for it 99.9% of the time.
Seen this before. here's a tip: Use water, ice or light blue wool at the bottom to convince better of your friends that it's a chunk error. Otherwise smart people who look down will notice that it's a fake hole and not a chunk error.
I can understand not liking something because you find it annoying, but that's an opinion. I'm not saying your opinion is meaningless, but it isn't more or less important than anyone else's. Statements like appeal to the lowest common denominator is an opinionated insult not a fact. Idk about the first bit but even so, if you join a group and later don't want to be with them... who cares? That seems neutral to me if anything. Thank you for explaining rather than just spewing thoughtless hate.
Hey guys Rush here. Usually when a chuck error happens you don't ser bedrock in a square infront of you. Its usually empty space looking like the sky. But nice. Looks like felix. Cant wait to... build a hole.
One time in my world, everything underground was open. Few chunks here and there, but it's like there was an explosion. So many diamonds just sitting out in the open :D
yes this is the same as a beta hole although its technical name is a chunk error. beta hole just came from the fact it is a hole and the loading errors were very common in minecraft's beta stage.
You can. In creative mode you can destroy bedrock above a certain point, just like with any block. The same in PC, you can't destroy bedrock in survival but can in creative. :)
You guys need to do this on the chunk grid to make it really realistic. I think you might still be able to use Ice to find chunks, but it may have been patched.
Bedrock has a virtually unlimited durability against anything except a player in Creative mode. Though, it takes around 285 concentrated tnt to brake one piece of obsidian. This is shown in a video made by AntVenom a long while back.
I made a giant hole, more than a chunk, all the way to bedrock, placed a tower on it with a full iron pyramid with 4 beacons on top, its about 26 by 26 on top, freaking massive
out of all my friends im the only one who watches this and they are stunned every time something new like hot foot or ghast man standing comes out cause they always think its me :)
Idk i think what he is thinking right now is "I'm going to go on a random video and insult everyone who likes this for attention" good job helping the troll.
Most people check chunk errors for exposed diamonds, so what you do to fool them is line the bottom with light blue wool. Then it looks like the bottom is open to void.
Neither do I. They have their own styles of doing things and people should simply respect everyone's tastes, even if they don't like it themselves. I do have to give it to Rooster Teeth, though, that they have more memorable quotes. XD
I probably wouldn't walk into the pit because Minecraft runs okay on my computer so there's chunks missing all the time. So I'll just sit there and wait for it to load and then realize "oh it's just a big hole."
Man I wish they had added one of those in Achievement City. The let's plays would have been twice as funny.
it could also end up making someone just wait at the edge forever just waiting for the world to load
That's even crueler. Especially if you destroyed someones house to do it, to trick them into thinking the world around their house hasn't loaded in.
And I keep on waiting...
WAITING!
Waiting on the world to load.
I love that song Lol

Wyatt Tyson just build a layer of snow or something on top of the bedrock
Ultr Gaming Why? I like how it looks.
MrDirectorAgent Stuff loads to fast. While with the 360 (and probably Playstation version) even higher end Internets had a chance to miss a chunk or two, the One version Loads very quickly, even on lower end internet speeds.

MrDirectorAgent First World Problem in a big way, yup.
it does however work if you remove the bedrock
Put water or light blue wool at the bottom in case someone looks into it.
Lapis blocks would b better
I'd skip the TNT and do it manually, then I'd put woll/lapis down right above bedrock to make it look really authentic.
They're in creative they could just knock the floor out but didn't.
MrLego3160 This is 6 years old. Back then you couldn't break the final layer of bedrock in creative.
Made myself fly just low enough so it looked like i was able to keep walking, got around 5 people to fall in the hole, this is genius
Imagine the how things would have played out if this was in Achievement City since Ep.1
They need this in achievement city
Make it happen Tuxedo Mask!
Yesssss. That would be pretty funny, and make a good let's build
Gav, you should make a Chunk Error in Achievement City and see how many times everyone will die from it. Make it near a popular area in Achievement City, probably near the town.
That would be awesome; they never really tested this on anyone as far as I know and it'd be great to see
Make it near their royal palace they use for the king let's plays and then just make a challenge that requires them to go in that direction. See how long they sit in front of it waiting for the chunk to load.
Wanna bet Gav would fall for it himself cause he's an idiot
finally finished things to do series, but i wish they made more of these more often
What's the Gavin/Ryan Alliance called? Team "Murder-Pillage," perhaps.
Team Ryvin. Or team British Insanity.
Micheal Steamson When was that?
I'm fairly sure that the 'official name' is Team Rainbows. but w/e
They're Team Love and Stuff. >w
Team Love 'n' Stuff
Alternate Names:
-Team Rainbow
-Team Rytard
-Team Magnum Schnoz
-Team Insane-ly Stupid
I have a friend who always threatens to throw people off of cliffs when they're being a smartass.
He should never, *ever* play Minecraft XD
They sound so happy I love it

Leads aren't in the Xbox version of Minecraft.
von buena Oh really? I didn't know that, thank you for telling me. Sorry I play on PC. i forgot there were differences between XBox and PC versions. Thank you :)

I did this to one of my friends, but I filled the bottom with water, and he didn't notice that. So when he fell he was just trapped down there with a map. I enjoyed it... he didn't. lol XD
Anyone here from the latest Minecraft let’s play?
Yup!
Which one?
Thumbs up if you came here after watching Ep 164, July update
yeaaaaaaaa boiiii
I like Ryan and Gavin when it's just them
This is genius. Can't wait to see someone fall for it in a Let's Play.
1:14 the last time Gavin ever said that to Ryan
👀
Anyone watched this then watched episode sky factory 4 part 8 and came back here
Did you have a stroke while writing this?
@@Yashirmare I think so...
I put host privrilleges on and made it look like I was walking on nothing XD
Ah, that clears things up, thanks. I wasn't quite so skeptical when I first played it, though. My best bro told me it was "digital crack" so I took a leap of faith.
i like how you can clearly see both sides the good one and the bad one by seeing if its flagged spam. It doesnt always work though people have there own thoughts.
This is better done on PC as you can break the bedrock at the bottom so it really looks like a chunk error.
+TrophyHunter99 Maybe putting a single layer of lava in the bottom instead? That way you can be really evil and punish the unwary.
+Gaden Kerensky no you put water and then lava so they think it's safe but as they get closer they realize they are screwed xD
TrophyHunter99 Why?
The whole idea with this is they're not looking all the way down, they'll just see the sides halfway up, which is why you make it look real. If they're looking down at the bottom, then they're either in mid fall to their death, or have spotted the danger.
What do you mean? A chunk error doesnt spawn bed rock. Leaving the bedrock if anything makes it less convincing
+Dam Son who are you replying too? I stated that the best way to make it is on PC because on the consoles you can't break the bedrock
They should have put this in achievement city to see if anyone every falls in it.
did they make this in a different world than achievement city, or did they just cover it up and then convert it to Felix Baumgartner?
It was a different world
Matine Tairi ah. just wanted to make sure
So glad this showed back up on my suggested list
And its people like you...who can really make a difference in the world. :D
Its so much easier in PC minecraft when WorldEdit is a thing.
I actually had a chunk error in one of my worlds
Me too. It sucked because it was right in my house and wouldn't go away whenever I reloaded the world or went far away and came back.
I really like that loud crunch when Ryan died.
I've gone through the process of carving out a chunk, except it was 40x40 and I made it into a tower that swayed the sky. After creating the tower I filled it with a labyrinth full of prison cells, torture rooms, and traps and after that putting certain items in chests hidden on random floors that would help you escape. Ryan has the most adorable laugh!
I actually made this like a month ago on my server, wish i coulda told them about it sooner so i coulda taken credit, but I'm glad they thought of it as well :)
did this and 3hrs later my friend keeps on falling for it! Many thanks you guys, I feel so much happier in minecraft

I'm fairly certain he knows what it is, it is to the point where Minecraft is so popular you cant really not know about it if you use the internet, especially as much as he does.
I love how as they were walking, there was an actual chunk error next to the chunk error xD
I love it how it's only one day and RT videos get so many likes.
Different people like different things and find different things humorous than some others might. Difference in preference, simple as it goes.
This came out on my birthday!!! (:
i made this today. this was really fun to make :D
This is brilliant!
Wtf is this legend? One block of water stop any fall, the fall speed is capped in minecraft.
Look at 0:58. They can break bedrock, and they do. They just leave some at the bottom because the splat is more satisfying than having them fall into the void.
This is beautiful.
LOVE THIS!!!
Aw since Ryan helped make this, this might be the only "things to do" that Ryan hasn't fallen for
Feel great because ive been doing this for ages
I hope this happens in a Let's Play where someone is just walking and they fall for this trap.
Along with what everyone else has said, Rooster Teeth has been around for 10 years, before RUclips was even really a thing.
Just so you know RUclips started in 2005. And also another fact, there were places to share videos before RUclips you know. RoosterTeeth started off elsewhere and simply migrated to RUclips when it went big
This is actually a great idea.
TO MUCH FAITH IN HUMANITY AHHHHHHHHHH

love these shorter ones that are more original then like hotfoot x or creepplunk or prolly in the future hotfoot xxx
gavin is now teaching ryan how to be even more of a lunatic. oh god.
Seen this before. here's a tip: Use water, ice or light blue wool at the bottom to convince better of your friends that it's a chunk error. Otherwise smart people who look down will notice that it's a fake hole and not a chunk error.
why is there no first impression video of the test subjects? like michael or geoff falling to this trap? their reaction would have been brilliant
Probably the coolest things to do .
I can understand not liking something because you find it annoying, but that's an opinion. I'm not saying your opinion is meaningless, but it isn't more or less important than anyone else's. what yall could do is, make the chunk error stretch across quit a bit of the map, put a bridge across it and name it Chunk Error Gully
The best things to do in minecraft videos are the ones that include the whole RT group playing together.
Hey guys Rush here. Usually when a chuck error happens you don't ser bedrock in a square infront of you. Its usually empty space looking like the sky. But nice. Looks like felix. Cant wait to... build a hole.

I know this is a really old argument and that it has been settled already, but you can see at 0:43 that they carved out the borders in bedrock.
This is genius omfg
I think it's a hybrid of fan-boy and Sagged-Pants Gangster. :O

That is just pure evil on their part. I love it.

Wait, what's that noise I'm hearing? Oh! It's your credibility as a human being, fluttering out the window!
*waves*
Bye, bye, credibility!
It also helps to put water or blue wool at the bottom. It looks like the void.
THIS IS SPARTA!!!!
I love this video ❤
It's pretty hard to understand sarcasm over a non-audio based forum/comment section. But I admire your attempt. Lol.
