Always fun getting new parts.Your lucky you can order the right colour when I look at stuff like that I have to get it painted to be Birch white. They look super cool. The head bolt covers look amazing I like that look
I can't wait to see this at the Nationals mate! Looking at the same bags at the moment for mine. Love the one touch open and close on the new ones and the slightly more rounded style.
Its funny I'm seeing some riders going backwards and putting the fat bags on their RK specials which to me look horrendous. Those stretched bags look so much cleaner and sleeker. I had a black 2005 RK classic with leather saddle bags and I swapped them for some black custom stretch bags with nice chrome latches. I had lots of extra chrome on that bike and did a nice 95 ci upgrade with Andrews cams and a Harley six speed upgrade and that bike ran smooth with plenty of power. I loved that bike but after 80k miles I traded it for a 18 Road King special industrial grey color and love that bike as well but still miss my Road King Classic. Thanks for sharing your nice bike.
@@roadking681 thanks mate, yeah I really like the look of the stretched bags, Road king in my opinion are a great platform to make it look like it’s your own
Hiya Pail and Elaine. Still waiting for Elaine’s review of her new seat. It certainly looks great as does the whole bike, with all its new shines bits. Sorry I missed you live. Belated Hi to everyone.
I’ve got the Willie G bling all over my 12 Roadglide as well, love the look you’re going for on this build. Do you mind me asking how much the bags set you back, and timeframe to get them. Thats next on the list to get the later model bags, so much easier to open and close.
Paul, would you consider the engine crash bars and perhaps changing the standard to 2"Vidinkta by Santoro fabworx out of California they are on my roadking special any who have a look see what you think they come in black or chrome there expensive but hey where not cheep!
@@TheHarleyRoadshow I learnt about the company through M$B after Matt Laidlaw Fitted them to his bike in LA so there might be a connection to exploit here for further growth on the back of his channel, They are a solid product and would possibly enjoy the promotion on your channel weather or not that Leeds to a price reduction should be tested in your case and for the sake of the roadking! It may lead you to consider the 16"*2"Burley Bars That would match the angles and comfort for this king. Sorry for going on but last night when you were fitting the foot pegs I just had to yell at the screen ... have a look see if its in your budget and enjoy the possible new look.
What oil do you run in your 96? I was going to go with what I usually run in all my bikes but was told that synthetic might not be good for an older EVO engine.
It looks very cool. But nothing is beating the sound of that evo. You need a startup in every video haha
I promise I’ll do it on the next one
Bags look good love those headbolt / sparkp
covers
Thanks mate yeah they look really cool I reckon
looking awesome Paul, head bolt covers are now next on my list! 🙂
