Lol, that *does* sound like Excalibur. In addition, many people find it rough to be in his presence. The facial expression that the ones who meet Excalibur make looks like it would be hard on the cheek muscles.

Sadly, I couldn’t find the corresponding Pokédex entry
The Sardines may have been a result of Google not being familiar with “SunMoon” サンムーン
and just decided to substitute it with “Sardines” サーディン.
This would also explain why “Swords” often appeared for Sword & Sheild Pokédex entries.
The websites I referred to often specified what generation the entry came from in parentheses directly after the entry itself.
Mayhaps everyone pasted the generation name into Translator along with the actual entry?

This is a fun one. Reminds me of school when they would ask draw a character based on their description in a short story and the whole class would have so many differences on clothes design, body shape, hairstyle, etc.
Digimon telephone. Karina gives Nathan a picture of an in-training Digimon, he draws the rookie. Jacob looks at his rookie & draws the champion. Julia looks at his champion & draws the ultimate. Karina gives names & details all the while.

Ok, speculation- "weapon" or "attack" have probably been translated into "sword" somewhere along the line. Karina's prompt was hillarious tho.
Trevenant’s entry talks about lumberjacks ‘cutting’ down trees, so it could be that.
@@MattieSheldonTheRUclipsr Yes, but some don't have anything close to a blade mentioned, and still have "sword" in them, so I was just thinking what could be translated into "sword" from all of them, and that's the best idea I got.
To my limited understanding of Japanese, I believe "sword" or "fight" is also the Kanji for "danger" or "threat" so like it could really be anything from "When this pokemon feels threatened" or like "This pokemon is dangerous" etc. Sardines I ain't got a clue tho

That actually was my first thought when they said "makes everything hard," was that she was going to draw Sonic into a sword form. lol
Funnily enough, google translate gets them so wrong because the pokedex doesn't use kanji at all! e.g. cat (neko) and root (nekko) have completely different kanji, but since it was written with hiragana it got them mixed up. No clue why it insists on sardines tho
Not entirely true... Pokémon games have come with a kanji option since Gen 3. The target demographic is just children so most of the websites post the non kanji option. You can view a kanji entry taken from my copy of Pokémon White at drive[.]google[.]com/file/d/1vL4cJUZxR6qlN5FjUYsCryZjpaN65Ejx .
Since it's all hiragana, sometimes google can't figure out when one word ends and another begins, so maybe it just really loves seeing sardines where there aren't any. Sardine is "iwashi". Perhaps a phrase containing "--iwa shi--" got cut up and smashed together strangely?

The thing it's translating as "sardines" here is clearly もり which makes no sense, the closest thing to sardines it could mean is 銛 and that's just like, vaguely water related. The Bayleef one doesn't make any sense either

At first I got the translation of "It is feared that you will eat the human beings that have been cut off, but it is kind to Pokemon who live in the forest", but when the spaces were taken out, sardines magically appeared! And now it's sardines every time, even when I leave the spaces in...
At least we can assume all the random "swords" probably came from "-tachi".

My favorite thing on Drawfee (besides everything) is when Nathan makes Karina go into a giggle-fit or vice-versa. They seem to really enjoy each other's humor. I mean they all have great comedic chemistry but I especially admire Nathan and Karina's dynamic.
Also Karina's love for Digimon and Neopets is equally pure.

I think it was Snorgon, like Snake + Gorgon (though it really should have been Sworgon, Sword + Gorgon, and then Swedusa, same root but Medusa instead of Gorgon), rather than Snorgan.
Maybe a regional variant evolution of Honedge? Like how Mr. Mime got Mr. Rime?🤔

Zatch Bell is something I had buried so deep that, when they mentioned it and put the picture on screen, I got physically nauseous. I still can't recall where or when I know it from, only that I don't want to remember.

I haven't thought of that weird ass anime in so long.
If you haven't, I highly suggest reading the Gash/Zatch Bell manga. It's actually the best battle shonen series i've ever seen/read, but the anime adaptation was really flawed, and actually entirely diverges's from the manga's plot after a while. The early villain of the week stuff is just "good", but once it switches to full arcs it never stops improving till the very end, wheras a lot of shonen start strong, but then have issues with sidelining everybody but the protag/rival, bloated pacing, over the top power escalation, etc the further in you get. Mangadex is the best place to read it since it includes all of the bonus/side content, use the Makai scans for the first 3 volumes since those include the color pages. There's also a new sequel manga!

Here’s a suggestion! I would love to see a speed draw type episode where one artist makes a whole drawing of whatever they felt like, they send that to the next artist who crops a small section out of the drawing and then makes an entirely new drawing incorporating that cropped section without changing it. In traditional medium you’d use a sticky note, draw over it, then remove the sticky note and put it on a new canvas.

Twisted Wonderland is an official Disney gacha game populated by characters inspired by Disney villains. These characters are all attractive young anime men that are either students or teachers in a boarding school and the whole thing is rather bizarre.
It’d be fun to see you try to design your own characters, either similar to the existing ones or maybe some female students/teachers? Or from the rival school that has characters inspired by Disney’s heros.

What about a cauldron of bats, a tower of giraffes and a gang of buffalo. And don't forget a kindle of kittens or a destruction of wild cats. And a group of frogs is also called a army. Group animal names are really funny and make both great and cursed prompts

We each got assigned a letter and had to pick an animal and do an art collage based around the collective noun for the animal we chose, but like based creatively on what the noun is. For example one person's collective noun ended up being "mob" so she did a collage for an animal wearing a gangster hat and a gun and made it look like a noir poster.

That was a thing I watched when I was younger and don't remember the overarching story of, but definitely remember small details of, like the episode about that teenager-looking... uh... whatever species Zatch Bell was, who was connected to an old man, and they sold cakes shaped like fish...

I've come back and watched this episode a few times now and somehow interpreted "from before tomorrow" as "from before yesterday" every single time until right this moment and things just got a lot more layered in my head
