I watched your video on Edward Green boots. Those boots came out awesome. Your videos are making me rethink my footwear.
This is what I have been seeing with my new AE's with Dainite - unsafe slip on wet hard floors. You are the second cobbler to mention the Eton's are substantially better on slick hard floors. Considering a resole . Is there any other sole you also recommend to avoid slipping on wet slick surfaces 4007 ? 269 ?
Doggo was thinking, 'what a weird dad' haha
Traction is key; Vibram is the winner for me.
How is the price difference?
Prices are the same. You can check them out on our site. www.cobblersplus.com
Thanks for this - I’ve got a pair of English Barker shoes soled with Dainite that are fairly worn down - I wear down the heels and toes mainly. I haven’t noticed much slipperiness on pavement, but they are a bit slippery on wet grass and very slippery if it’s muddy underfoot. They’ve already been resoled once, and need it again, so I think I’ll switch from Dainite next time. The inside of the heel area is badly worn, though, so maybe it’s time to retire those shoes... We’ll see! Thanks again for the video - useful information.
You can always send us pictures and we can see what can be done.
@@CobblersPlus And I would do that, but I’m in the UK, so it’s a bit too far away! I have this bad habit of buying shoes / boots, so maybe I should start wearing my other pairs a bit more!
Great video!
I gotta have maximum grip. I shy away from footwear that isn't rubber, and even then it's aggressive rubber.
Great information how much would it be to replace a pair of Allen edmonds walnut strand soles using Vibram I'm from Canada and big fan of you and Bedos watched every video of you guys no good cobblers in my city thank you
Typically that runs $150 USD.

Hi, do Eton heel and Dainite heel have same thickness?
Interesting
Is it possible to put a rubber sole on any dress shoe that was originally leather soled? For instance Crockett and Jones Hallam leather soled to dainite or vibram?
Just about any
