I own cbr650r, both bikes almost cost the same. But cbr650r is head turner i have ridden z900 also and it's power is overwhelming so it stopped me from buying it. Z900 needs experience to ride, it can throw you away just like that. If you are looking for just power don't buy cbr650r but if you want public attention, sexy engine sound last but not the least easy maintenance and honda reliability then cbr650r is best
I rode recently from Hyderabad to khammam, and there was this amazing stretch from Suryapet - Khammam, where pretty much any bike can be maxed out. I was on a Z900, there was a 2013 Ninja 650 & a CBR 650. The Kawasaki was absolutely toying with the other bikes , no question at all. But when it came to top speed runs, they had me. Both those bikes were doing 200 nom Stop, quite comfortably..i could hit 200 once or twice for a few seconds tops. My respect for the 650s grew so much.
The most first owner bike is z900 but you rarely find a cbr650r as a second hand bike this shows that how people are happy from cbr650r I will own a cbr after few months after researching so much 😊

@@coryeswangs7530 Price is more or less the same. On the contrary why people stick to CBR650R more than Z900 is that 1. CBR650R mileage is 25-30 kmpl where as Z900 mileage is around 15-17.5 kmpl 2. CBR650R service cost will always be near about half to that of Z900. As, most of us belong to Middle class and we can buy Z900 upfront but maintaining the bike becomes a challenge. That's why CBR600R is the best buy. This way there won't be any compromise in fulfilling your dream of owning a superbike.

I own CBR650R 2019, I’ve raced with several friends of mine who are owning Z800,Z900 . The gap distance isn’t this far so what I assume is the cbr rider doesn’t know how to ride ? 😂 because YES Z900 obv has more power because of it’s CC but it’s naked bruh. You can win easily on the street roads but NOT on an Highway. My CBR i only changed exhaust system and I’ve ran up to 262KMPH, My friend with the exact same exhaust system on Z900 couldn’t beat me on Highway. So yeah, sometimes it depends on who’s riding it. I repeat, Z900 has more power than CBR650R but Z900 is naked so nobody can bear and hold on when you’re above 230-240. The wind slaps your face OFF when you bear and hold for not even 30 secs. But CBR650R ? No worries, can ride as fast as you want so. In the end, both are GREAT bikes. I personally like Z900 too for long rides but if someone asks which one im gonna own I’d obv pick CBR650R, so it all depends on what are you looking for in this bikes and choose wisely and enjoy. Always wear safety Gears !

250cc difference speaks alot although Z900 is a naked but still it's still a kawasaki. And this is comparing like Duke125 vs Ktm 200. It's not too worth to watch

z900 redlinetops at 10.5k rpm where in 6th gear it wasnt pullling over 10k rpm so it could acchive good performance with simple ECU tune as they is low power at higher band
