Hell yeah, two Darkest Dungeon II videos back to back and i was missing deeply The Collector showing up. Appreciate the content, keep with the good stuff.
I just got DD2 to play alongside you and I've had so much fun so far, so here is my story.
I was in my 5th run of trying to tackle the act 2 boss and I managed to get 1 barricade and the second to final occultist encounter away from heading into the mountain.
I had a team of Alchemist, Deadeye, Rogue, and Seargent with most of the abilities unlocked and was doing pretty solid.
Until I managed to face that damned Collector on that one fateful barricade encounter, and before long most of my heroes were on deaths door.
Before I managed to kill him, HE TOOK MY M.A.A with him and so after my damage dealers almost melted down at the occultist fight I had to resort using my recently unlocked serve Crusader to serve as my tank.
Finally I managed to beat that damned mouth breather of an act and finally am heading to the Obsession Boss.

Edit - I just tried to a run on act 3 with a Alchemist, Banneret, Rogue, and Carcass. I DECIMATED the entire run up to the final boss. Then it completely wiped the floor with me with an onslaught of Crits.

That ending was fucking insane lol, we stan Flag
Just occurred to me that Loathing is kind of like a global stress meter. It goes up on the road and when it fills up, you have a meltdown and it goes back to zero.
For items being blocked by quirks I noticed that it only says "Blocked by :______" if someone on the party has a negative quirk that blocks the item
Jesus Christ that final fight was rough.
Watching this reminded me of the run where I fought 2 cannons, the Collector, Death, and Antiquarian. It was definitely an interesting run
So impressed you pulled that out. Flag is a god in the right hands.

For real though
I think the last part of the act boss was beatable if you went more agressive on him , considring its not a grand slam attempt you should just have hit him with the crit token flag i think for exemple
After the disaster the last runs were, Britishbrat was blessed, with a goated team, goated trinkets, even struggling past a Collector, and past Death herself, even with the Act Boss being bullshit, Britishbrat outbullshitted the boss with Flag and his Lash's Gift, An absolute clownfest and shitshow of a run, but one well deserved win
