Hi, Baer, I'm just a lurker here but I gotta say that I love your dd2 videos. They really helped me when I was sick for two weeks, they were my company, I'd sleep and wake then sleep again watching you videos. Thanks bro, I can watch a 3h video of yours playing dd2 and not get bored. You rock, keep up the good work!
That. Was. Grueling. Yet unbelievably close after numerous ups and downs and coming back from the edge repeatedly. A damn fine effort! Ultimately, though it may feel so in the moment, this will *not* be in vain or for naught. This was the dress rehearsal for victory in due time.
My Tips for Duelist: Wanderer just feels like the most consistent path. I like to run meditate, prep (upgrade gives +40% riposte dmg), flick (utility to go through dodge/ block), and last is flex but touché is good for repositioning as long as you think about it in advance. Instructive and antagoniste can work but are overall less consistent. If you want to use antagoniste I recommend using coup de grace, and boot as both can stun (coup with upgrade). Usually disengage or meditate is a great option on this path to gain defensive stance (note coup removes stance, so it's best to boot a combo target, then coup for 2 stuns off of 1 stance). Instructive is more supportive and can work well, although adding stress has added risk compared to other support heros, and overall this path lacks dmg. Intrepide is just not usually worth it my opinion, it can work but most times you play for added dmg and get hit through a dodge, or a dot gets applied and you were better off just playing wanderer.
Love every DD video you upload. You have the perseverance to make a setback into an amazing recovery. This was a victory, not against the boss, but in showing what is possible.
The constant double blinds have messed up my recent attempts at the seething sigh as well. I'm quite tempted to go leper for the front lung and damage cultist for the back lung next time. Still thinking about how I want to keep the marks up though when everyone seems to be perma-blinded throughout the fight.....
YES! YEEEEEEEEES ITS FINALLY DD2 TIME. I felt like i was in the desert with the lack of DD vids but Im glad you took a break if you needed one or just went on vacation. I only watch on YT so i dont always catch what youre up to! Regardless thanks man your videos have gotten me through some tough times i hope its for many more years to come :)
It would be really cool to see you use the same torch in a row for each stage. That way you would be more familiar with the torch and you could even use the same crew. As it gets harder you can use the memories for each person to kinda even it out. Just a thought and not sure if it would be content wise.
Ever since Stardew Valley, Indie games have become the big thing in gaming. Concerned Ape has really made it seem attainable considering he made the greatest game in recent history all by himself.
(don't have clap yet) and (don't have hero yet) ! Triple A game recommendations? Don't look at me! I played Starfield for awhile until the bugs finally booted me out (deleted my best ship with its unique modules). I hear they fixed...some of them...I guess...but not gonna check to see just yet.

Appreciate it!
"I think I might be able to relax here a little bit."
*Aggressive Warlord noises rapidly approach*
Impeccable timing 😂
Joke's on you Baer, I don't skip ahead. Not only that but I lurk on Twitch as background noise when I'm busy then come rewatch the vods over here 😂

Agreed!
10:16 for the most entertaining part of the entire vod
Baer really hit us with the "you didn't see anything.... right?" Ole skipper line.

I would love to see a Baer DD-inspired BG3 play-through!
More DD2 let's GOOOOOO, I'm excited to see what the rewards are when completing the vitrine

My life is UnBearable at times, thank you for this upload, I feel like a seething bastard myself😅.
she defiantly was defiant. if she had jinx and the heal on hit trinket i think she could of clutched it
One could say this is quite the moment to seethe and cope. Pun intended any offense not intended.

I saw the most entertaining part of the entire vod 😏
As far as AAA games I will say I thoroughly enjoyed Dragons Dogma 2.
A Final Fantasy 10 remake with the original soundtrack would be a straight W. To be honest, I enjoy playing Blitzball than the actual game lol
F for Chubbs.
Blitzball sucks ballz
Darkest Dungeon 2 but it's actually SAO
Adds a whole new dimension to the raffle for characters names in game lol
