I just noticed at 30:53 when Damian plays Fractured Sanity, he tapped the Azorius signet to cast it, meaning he casted a 3 Blue card with BWB (blue/white/blue) so he actually was unable to cast it.
Would it have been able to be cast with the mana he had in the entire turn? I’m sure just a little bit of tweaking with how he tapped the mana that turn would have solved this. Not a big issue but thanks for noticing that detail.

No because deflecting swat doesn’t change the text. It’s still one of my opponents therefore it can’t be me for the target of the ability. If swat changed the text then it would work.

@@ttrobertoproductions not if it is an opponent of mine. It doesn’t change the text. The target couldn’t be me because of that reason and the wording specifically stated on swat.
Swat can only reselect new legal targets for the spell or ability, not just any target you want.

Who dies to DS? Remember you can only change the target of the spell or ability, not change the text. It is still an opponent of mine so it has to be someone other than myself.

So great personality from everyone and a really fun episode but you really should have someone nearby to be a judge. I know it’s a super causal game but especially when playing with a newer player it’s best to correct their mistakes now then let them just play it out.
Thanks! While I see your point and agree somewhat that we could have a judge nearby we are just showcasing friends getting together and having a good time. This is how games go on between real friends and that’s the point of the show to highlight that. Mistakes will be made as we aren’t too focused on who played right or wrong but how much fun we had together! Maybe that might be something we change in the future but right now it’s just about the good vibes. 😎 Thanks for watching and for the feedback!
@@TabletopJocksI see your point but even between just casual players and friends at an lgs, there’s generally at least one person who is a judge or judge equivalent, again love the personality and fun but having even a friend nearby to just make sure everything is resolving ok because it can be a lot to track alone especially in the heat of it
