Can’t happen as we have pay for battery + engine in hybrid (almost double cost) … If hybrid becomes 15 lakhs then EV would be less than 10 (only battery no engine)
With the deteriorating exchange rates and overall declining economy, car prices are only expected to go up in the coming times.
If the economy recovers to pre-covid era, and the import prices go down with healthier USD-INR exchange rate, maybe then we can get hybrids under 15L.
Car manufacturers may keep offering occasional heavy discounts in the coming times to sell off their old stock and recover some of their losses
I agree. Hybrids which have real capability. For example, a 15 kw plug in chargeable battery that gives 100 km real world driving on charge. A serial hybrid is the way forward.
Govt should give the same subsidies as EVs on hybrids ngl

Because there is currently an undisputed market/demand of EV in India while all the big players have now decided to enter that space.
EV market has grown significantly over time.
Tata-Mahindra-MG are going to face tough times ahead competing with MarutiSuzuki-Hyundai-Toyota-Kia in the space.
Brands like to keep at least one product in each type of car categories even if they make less sales such as off-roading segment.
EV is another such growing segment.
Please do talk about 3 cylinder engine Vs 4 cylinder engine. Whenever mentioning about any car do talk about 3 cylinder & NAS point.

Suzuki needs to change Logo now, else it wont sell. Electric vehicles still have some infrastructure to be delevloped. Creta electric, I wont buy because it has charging port right in front which is an absolute blunder, Kylaq is good for city drive, a good replacement for Polo

I m from raipur Chhattisgarh i waited for this expo so that i can have 50% off on the road tax but was disappointed that the state government is not giving any discount on EV's. 50% road tax discount is only available on petrol n Diesel only.
