I'm about to start my newest brain dump session (I don't do it daily or weekly but maybe ever 2 or 3 months), on my new APPLE POST-ITS.......because their cuteness helps productivity.......it really really does. Hehehe
Your videos are timeless! I remember watching them years ago and I needed a boost and looked you up again. I am so glad you are making new videos. I’ll check them out too.
This is exactly how I brain dump!! I kept hearing you guys say to not organize but I cannot function the other ways. If I did not know that the post-its were in their "section" at least, it would be just as bad for me as if I had not brain dumped in the first place. Also it saves so much time to toss it when its done, or to not have to rewrite it. I often will take a few of the post-its and put them on my daily sheet to work on them. For older ones, I put an (r.) for REVISED and the date (month/year) so that I know how long they have been "waiting" (lol) to get done. Or even at one glance, whenever I sit to do this I use different shapes or colors of post-its so I can SEE when I set a certain task. My brain dump section is the front inside flap of a 5 subject notebook, you know the huge ones. I categorize them by rows and it takes no second thought to put them on the right row. That way it doesn't become another to do to have to go through notes later and sort it out. I'm so glad that you did this video :) I also keep a notebook (yes another one) with sections, like medical for my daughter, for me, her school, my business, place specific because we travel lots, so each state or country has a to do in that place section. Or because in some countries we have trouble with internet, I have to do's offline, to do's in the daytime, or that sort of thing. Time specific so that I don't have to waste time thinking or deciding what needs to be done where and when. Its a madness only you guys can understand. ;)
I've been watching your videos for a while because of my love for paper, pens and planners. This video is the reason why I subscribed. Thanks for sharing.
I've never thought to do a brain dump with sticky notes. Always used paper and then lost that paper. Thank you for the this video. It did give a lot of thoughts.
Thank you, thank you, and thank you 😀 as a person who is visual this is amazing. I will be doing this from now on. Your videos are very informative and you provide so much knowledge. Thank you again.
Bright Idea! Carie I guess I'm not the only one with alot in her mind. lately I find myself sleeping late or hardly at all...lol. So now I just keep my faux Midori close to me next to my books! Is this the only 2 main Midori Notebooks you use daily? thanks for sharing have great day. god bless :)
I am a stay at home, 51 year old grandmother, who does not work outside the home. I love to write and organize, but don't do anything that needs organizing. How do I brain dump if I don't "do" anything?
On Aloe Ground I did make those tabs... they're just Tim Holtz letter stickers stuck onto the heavy plastic Post-It tabs (they hold up better than the thinner plastic ones).

Never mind Carie! Put on my glasses and found the video! It's hard getting older!
Do you use a pressure embossing labeler for your tabs in the Midoris?
What are the top black tabs? You made?
