If you liked the dialogue in this movie, I suggest you check out JUNO. It's from the same writer. She wrote it before this and won an Oscar for it. Very different movie to this one!
This is the first suggestion ever, that movie isn’t even close.. also this movie has terrible dialogue, he’s laughing at the silliness of them trying too hard.
I love that you find it funny...because its meant to be a dark comedy
She was essentially a succubus.
Incubus in the last movie, succubus in this.
@@couch.patati-patatalmao!!! I was gonna say
She is a succubus.

Drag me to hell grabs my gag reflex 🤢😂
Thr faculty great
the guy that picks her up in the car at the end is Lance Henriksen, whose most known for playing Bishop in the Alien movies
Plot:
Nerdy girl crush on popular girl, popular girl also likes her. Popular girls turns into devil and kills every single BOY she hooks up with besides her GIRL nerdy friend wich she hooks up with and doesn't kill her, she also kills the boyfriend of that said girly friend, reasons, jealousy and obsession for nerdy girl.
Ending, devil girl is sadened and heartbroken because nerdy girl she likes rips the colar she gave her.
Beggining of the movie "people send me prayers and say I need jesus" the same phrase every queer person hears since childhood.
All of this achieved by subtext because of the year the movie came out where stereotypes were still harshly prevalent in society.
Hope I explained why its not confusing for queer people and why its a fun, unserious iconic movie for the community
Also the nerdy girl comes from a fractured family. Single mother who is absent due to working so many hours for the kid. It's so common for LGBT to come from fractured families
Touches on some of the horrors of high school pretty well.
Those are the Twilight woods.
Actually one of the most clever horror films i have ever seen. I am so glad you did this one
Some great one liners
@@AwesomeUSMovies As others have pointed out already: it's a great portrayal of a lot of things young LGBT have experienced. I can attest to this being LGBT myself. This movie is one of the few things I have seen openly call out bad behaviors in the LGBT as wrong, and how the mentality of people excusing them "because the person doing it is hot" is no excuse at all.
Chip is in Superhero Movie. Got bit by a dragonfly and got powers.
I love Phil Collins & Genesis
also Stevie Nicks & Fleetwood Mac.
Hey James always enjoy your reactions, a really great movie you should check out is Fallen from 1997 starring Denzel Washington
Added to my list, thanks for the suggestion.
@@AwesomeUSMovies it's imo one of Denzel's hest movies (and that's saying a lot) and it would actually fit the Halloween theme James
I always thought the title meant Jennifer's body got possessed by a demon
I think you're right
I'm a big fan of this movie and even I wouldn't call it 'hauntingly beautiful' 😅 maybe your boys just really like Megan Fox? 🤣🤣🤣
To me it's a horror comedy through and through, and though it was extremely poorly advertised I really enjoyed it in the theater and still enjoy it even more (though I'm not a huge fan of the 'unrated' version for how it drags out scenes)
Try Lisa Frankenstein for another horror comedy from writer Diablo Cody.
James, you can add J.K. Simmons to the actor catalog after this movie. He plays Mr. Wroblewski in this movie, and was Ben Affleck's boss in The Accountant.
Very underrated horror film in my opinion🎥
Plz react to “From Dust Till Dawn” (1996) George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino. 😊😊
Added to my list, thanks for the suggestion.
This has to be one of the dumbest picks for anyone, let alone you. Safe to say you can now ignore every request from this person ever. “Hey let me show you how stupid I am and pay you money to watch a movie that is almost as dumb as me”🤦♂️🤯
Needy
It’s an allegory for repressed sexuality.
I hope you watch Constantine 🤞
This movie is a little hard to understand for straight people (especially straight man), but it is very popular and iconic movie in the lgbtq community.
I remember watching this with my family last year intentinonaly, the gay panic was large, but also older asians are not used to see explicit scenes so they tought I was possessed from chosing this movie to watch
I recomend "But im a cheerleader" its a 90s ironic comedy about c0nversion camp, it is really wholesome and funny. And for a 90s movie it is head of its time
Straight white dude here and I think it’s for everyone. I don’t even know any gays that talk about this movie. But my fellow horror fans seem to enjoy it
@@lessismoore1672 not really, the subtexts are pretty straight forward
Nerdy girl crush on popular girl, popular girl also likes her, popular girl turns into devil and kills every single BOY she hooks up with besides her girl nerdy friend wich she just hooks up with and doesnt kill her, she also kills the boyfriend of that said girly friend, reasons, jealousy and obsession for nerdy girl.

All of this achieved by subtext because of the year the movie came out where stereotypes were still harshly prevalent in society.
Hope I explained why its not confusing for queer people and why its a fun, unserious iconic movie for the community. Even tho the hook up scene is male gaze, it was better than nothing for the year it came out
@@lessismoore1672 I misunderstod you comment, I have tought you said "it is from everyone" responding to me saying the movie is hard to understand for straight man, like you saying it is confusing not just for straight man but for everyone. But now I read it again and I think what you mean is that the movie is for everyone
@@アキコ2003 i would stay clear of using absolutist language defining any group of people like "straight men" like they're one entity.. if you look up reactions to this movie, there are plenty of straight men who understand and appreciate the plot perfectly well.. as far as a "male gaze".. no offense, but what did you think this movie was going for using Megan Fox, who at the time was pressed to be one of the most beautiful women in hollywood? That was very much deliberate and i've seen both queer and straight men find her, rightfully, foxy.. but believe it or not.. more straight men seem to actually show more respect in those scenes and show just a quick clip, whilst queer people will make comments like "ooo here we go, yes miss jennifer!!!", and totally glamorise a scene where Needy wasn't even in control of her mind, just like in the bar where Jennifer was also under the same spell, and Needy had to snap out of it and push Jennifer off of her. Any movie is for anyone interested in the genre. I'd argue it might be more of an age difference in whether they'd find something this campy fun or not. but def not by group labels like 'straight men'.. I'm a girl btw.. i just don't like when people label groups of people like they are a monolith rather then individuals.
@@lessismoore1672 bingo
I hated this movie at first bc I didn’t know what I was watching but the second time was a little better and the third time was even better 😂 this movie is wildly stupid but I like it 😂
Do they make regular sweet tea in that brand?
If you enjoy this you probably also enjoy the Species Franchise
Not a fan of this movie at all! I think it was exactly what you said, an opportunity to promote Megan Fox, she was popular at the time.
But watching you trying to figure out the plot was funny.😁
Thanks for watching
