Sergeant Pullease should clearly not have been promoted or even a police officer. He has had multiple citations and allegations of excessive force. If you look at the video the suspect was in handcuffs, in the vehicle, surrounded by police officers. The pepper spray would have been excessive force. By doing what she did the female officer probably prevented the public defender from giving the suspect a get out of jail free card. Also the sergeant has had multiple citation for excessive force placed on him. The guy was clearly roided out or something. Not only did he attack another police officer, but he attacked a woman. He clearly has no respect for the badge or women. He just let his adrenaline and rage dictate his actions. He is a police officer, there needs to be higher standards otherwise their is no difference from them and any ass with a gun.

The chief of police Anthony Rosa is a great guy. But this police department has too many employees that date each other and hold alot of power through the fraternal order of police. Which is no suprise why Negron president of the Fop who also has a wife who works for this police department has no shame going after Chief Rosa in dueling letters. Everyone in the public can read these letters online. Chief Rosa is right and a hero. But he has a whole Fop who doesnt like him. I hope Chief Rosa overcomes the pressure that will be applied by the fop alliance. Like Chief Rosa says law enforcement should be "guardians not warriors". In my opinion Communities feel safer and inspired by guardians. Warriors make you feel unsafe and strike fear in the communities heart.
