Mainly, it's worth considering what your actual goal is. Are you primarily looking to increase your hang time for an arbitrary length of time? Or are you interested in getting the most benefit and improvement to your body?
Myself and 2 friends set up a website in 2013 aimed at selling gym workout programs to people with a 9 to 5 job and little free time to work out. Both of them lost interest in the first year and I ended up keeping it as a hobby and writing articles, then eventually RUclips videos.
Interesting, what was your starting point? I did a 30 day challenge which involved 7 total minutes of hanging, never going to failure, and ended up adding ~45 seconds to my hang time ruclips.net/video/gOrD9cejhYc/видео.html
@ I grew up with many chronic illnesses and am pretty weak musclewise. Tried bulking up a few years ago and saw some progress but had always been weak with chip up and hanging. I started at about 30s hanging each go as that was my longest i could hang for and i usually needed to take 5mins long rests before trying again after each go. I tried hanging 2 times (as that was the max i could do) each day for about 2 months. No improvement by the end of the period so I gave up.
1:30, but then it hurt and I stopped not to injure my hands (1,80m, 70kg). Interesting.
Most I ever managed was 1:15. I did however add liquid chalk and it added 20 seconds. Maybe that’s considered cheating.

I trained for this at one point but got literally no improvement after months so i gave up.
