Glad to see the bolt is still around . If ya ever need to pull off grips without an air compressor is two flat head screw drivers and some soapy water or lubricant get the lube in there and they wiggle right off without the work lol

How did you get the chrome ring around speedometer black?

You sand it down till its copper color shows through. Then ypu paint it with black primer spray paint. Google low and mean speedometer painting
