I wasted my teens away, but I don't really blame teen me. Teen me didn't know the future, wasn't mature enough to think ahead realistically, neglected by parents, and was severely traumatized, so I don't blame him for using the internet as a form of escapism. I just wish I could go back and inform him about life then maybe he would have been more productive with his actual hobbies, and not give up so easily at school, not because he wasn't smart, but because he was depressed and felt hopeless. I want to hug him and all struggling teens, tell them it'll be okay and listen to this song with them but whilst consuming the outside world and not listening to it while staring at the screen.
