MK1: Everybody Hates Kung Lao

- Kung Lao is one of, if not the most Bragadocious characters in the Mortal Kombat series. Some fighters find it funny at first but they get really annoyed of it after a while. In the previous timeline he was stuck in Liu Kang's shadow, and now he is chasing Raiden's. Poor Lao may never see himself in first place.
Anyone remember when Kung Lao was the humble monk that just wanted to live in peace and avenge his best friend?
I miss that timeline on occasion.
Mk9 ruins it. At least he still cool

Lao is my favourite character absolutely, he is more humble than in mk11 and still loyal with the realm, his family and especially his friends❤

Kung Lao is amazing. He is literally incapable of jealousy. When Raiden became earthrealm's champion, Kung Lao pretty much was like "He beat me, earthrealm must be safe"

@@scottchaison1001 Steph Curry was dribbling. The ball hits a bad floorboard. But Steph is so 100% confident in his dribbling, he found which floorboard ruined his dribble.

I still don't understand the whole non-humble vibe Kung Lao is portayed as nowadays. I always loved his demeanour via Shaolin Monks, driven by the pride of his family and always ready to back Liu Kang and the Shaolin. Kung Lao deserves his flowers, I sure wish I had a brother much like him🔥🤌🏽
and there was still some Liu Kang envy back then too, but it was subtle.
