I had a problem with my Emove whilst on holiday in mid Wales and I rang Emove for help. What happened next was astonishing. Despite being more than 100 miles from Emove's offices John Townsend and his colleague Ian said one of them would drive to me the next day, investigate and fix the problem free of charge. They said that if they couldn't fix it they would bring a new mover with them and fit it. Sure enough, next day, John arrived, fixed the issue (caused by a 3rd party fitter making an installation error) and drove all the way back to Emove's HQ. The most outstanding customer service I have ever experienced from any company, anywhere, anytime. Oh, by the way, the Emove mover is a superb product!
Now that’s fantastic customer service, what a great guy. Shame there are not more companies like that around, caravan manufacturers could learn from that in a customer service front. Glad you got it sorted, Thanks for comments and watching.
Is it really nearly 5 years ago i watched you fit it. Makes me feel old! Glad it still works for you, our mover is doing well and yes we can reverse but its nice to have the mover for those tight spots as well as fitting the alko lock
Spot on Martin.Movers must be one of the best inventions for caravans ever.Takes all the difficulty out of manoeuvring on any site.Even if you are the best person at reversing you still need one of these.
We had an Emove fitted last year didn’t do it ourselves as it is electric ⚡️ Absolutely brilliant love it, best thing since sliced bread So easy to manoeuvre caravan round
Best investment I made.. This is our 2nd motor mover by e move. Our 1st was a semi automatic I was OK did the job. No issues. 2nd one fully automatic via the remote again e move no issues. Definitely recommend this product. Change the remote battery every year. Fully automated and all cases in. That way no stones or debris getting into the the workings of the mover. Use it all the time regardless. Its a god send. It was your inspiration Martin that we got ours at the time. Like I say 2nd one in 6 years. Due to caravan change. 👍
They are definitely a good investment. Never thought about stones in the workings, will check that out. Glad you are happy with it. Thanks for comments and watching
Hi Martin, fitted one of these to our sterling Eccles Ruby when we first got it after watching your video 2 years ago, ours did move a little down the chassis but not enough to stop it working, but didn’t have a torque wrench at the time so just used TFC. Got a nearly new Bailey Pegasus Grand SE now and swapped it onto that, with no issues, torqued it this time so we’ll see how we get on. Cracking mover for the money, £499 Aldi
Good to know the mover still going strong - I’d be lost without mine Only prob I had was the rubber gaiter that covers the motor split last year but got them replaced under warranty and easy to fit ( Powertouch). Good to see you back online again Martin Regards Howard
Hi Howard, Yes still working fine with no problems. Glad you got the gaiter sorted on warranty, some companies are not that helpful. Thanks for the support, Martin
Hope this helps someone, we have a slight incline on the driveway, and couldn’t get the caravan up with the motor mover when we bought it home the first time. I ended up hooking up to the car, and using the car to get up the incline, then unhooked and motor moved into the space. When I was asked other caravan owners for tips, someone said make sure the tyres are inflated to the correct psi, under inflated tyres will have an effect on uphill moving 😊
Can't believe its been over four years Martin. I've had my Titan on three different caravans, so it's old lol and it's still going strong. Your green light on the remote is flashing cos the isolation key isn't fitted. Enjoy your time ;))
Thanks for your update Martin, are motor-mover was already fitted when we bought the caravan, so not sure how old it is but probably fitted from when the caravan was new which is a 2017 model, the only thing I can see that maybe a future problem is the hex head bar just moves slightly when it goes under load onto the tyre, but apart from that it’s absolutely brilliant, had to spin the caravan 180 decrees a couple of times to leave the site, they do take the stress out of your holiday, thanks again Martin, until your next video 👍👍.
Hi Martin, we have virtually the same mover although under a different name. I tend to soak both mover units with WD40, getting right into all the little areas. Keeps it lubricated, keeps rust at bay and keeps it kleen and shiny too👍🏼
Glad to see you've found your Caravanning Mojo again Martin, Our first mover was a P you know what Touch and we had nothing but trouble with it, this was about 10 years ago it was in the days of the old white handsets a AM electronics and we were a development guinea pig for the now standard PT blue FM electronics. Any way long story short the warranty run out and the mover was still a problem so i asked a PT fitter that used to come out and fix it and he also fitted other makes and by that time had become a friend what make he would recommend as a replacement he said get a cheap Chinese one and you wont have a problem. I bought a eMOVE 303A and like yours it hasn't missed a beat it works every time and its now about 5 years old more than can be said for the PT. The other brand make a big thing about the warranty....... but its needed.
Hi Gary, yes definitely getting my mojo back! I’ve heard a few people having problems with PT movers. I didn’t see the point in paying silly prices for one as they essentially all do the same job. Most expensive isn’t always the better buy. Thanks for watching 😊
Had my emove 203 fitted 6 years ago now, brilliant bit of kit and never failed me. I do however how have possible a stone between the guard/roller on one side I need to look at. I think for the price and reliability I wouldn't hesitate to have another.
Didn’t have a motor mover on theBailey that we had so had to learn to reverse (in a manner!!) but our newer swift came with one already fitted, i still generally attempt to reverse but when we went to France, i just couldn’t be arsed reversing either after driving for 6 or 7 hours
@@TheCaravanNut Its not cheap , i have been using it on many of my motorbikes over several years as its from the aviation industry , you can use it on any moving or non moving part its not corrosive like WD40. To remove it use very hot soapy water. Regards Robert
If you think about it, motor movers generally have very little use. Its not really a surprise that they last so long. Its very rare that a motor mover is abused...

Glad to see the Mover is giving good service.
Cheers Colin,
Thanks for watching 😊
I fitted mine myself only because i watched your video. So far so good! Thanks again
Glad the vlog helped. Happy caravanning 🙂

Yes time has flown by! Great to have the mover for those tricky pitches or when you can’t be arsed.
Thanks for watching

They are great and make the job a lot easier, I use mine a lot nowadays.
Thanks for watching
Fitted my Aldi special on my own after watching your video. It's been invaluable especially as I travel alone and I've had no problems with it. 🤞
Glad you fitted it and are not having any problems with it. They are great for pitching up ya van. Cheers

Glad you are happy with yours. Takes a lot of the hassle away when pitching up, more time for relaxing! 😊

Hi Keith, yes they are great value and do a good job. Hopefully it won’t move this time, nice van by the way.

Certainly make things easier on a tricky pitch, well worth the money. Cheers

Hi Alex, thinks for the info, will be doing that tomorrow before we leave site. Cheers
Thanks for the update, will check mine over when I put Bessie away for the winter. My EM203 has been great and so easy to use. 👍👍 Mike
They certainly make life easier, thanks for watching

that's good news as I've just got one from aldi for 500 quid
Good bargain there! Won’t go wrong with that, cheers

Sometimes it’s just easier to stick the mover on than mess about reversing.

It was Ian at Emove who drove to me in Wales, not John Townsend.
Use ACF50 to clean and seal the mover.
Cheers, will have a look at that 😊

Of you are at the NEC you may get a few pats on the back for that.🤓
Not at the NEC, too far to travel and don’t need anything. Will also be working and away 😊
Thanks for watching
I fitted, I fitted , did it my self!!!! ?????
Will you stop watching my vlogs bro! 🤣🤣
Couldn’t have done it without you.
600 times I’ve watched that clip.
Lol 👍😘
Ha ha 🤣

Yes they don’t get used much, so far mine’s problem cost me about £35 a go 🤣
