Sir now I am studying bsc biotechnology and chemistry application..... Final year ... Can you suggest me what can I done after this to get a job .... Pls sir
what is primary cell line? in the next video you said there is only primary cell culture and after that whatever it is, it is secondary cell culture or cell line.
Sir, I had a doubt. If MRC-5 cells are derived from an aborted foetus, how come their number of divisions are limited to only 60? Shouldn't they theoretically divide as many times as needed to form functional lung tissue in a normal foetus? Or is 60 indeed the number of divisions they undergo in the developing foetus before further development and differentiation?
Starting with one cell, 60 divisions comes to a total of over a million trillion cells. For reference there are about 40 trillion cells in the human body.
