I geeked out when I found his videos and screenshots to his channel too. I remember that last video so well too in early 2016. He was selling off his entire collection and I commented "how much are they?," to which I don't think he replied too. Soon, the videos all went away in later 2016. He is doing well now. I tracked his personal Instagram through some intense detective work. It's because the old link for his channel is now renamed to a band he is in, and I looked for the band on Instagram which led me to his personal account. You can tell it's him. Amazing how there's always some sort of connection to these people.

Never really seen anyone talk about Cars lost media outside of the Walmart ad and the scrapped doc death scene from Cars 3. Really good vid, that first topic brought back a lot of memories, I binged watched those vids constantly from like 2015-2016.
I thought this was a great video and a topic that doesn’t get talked about often. Sadly I didn’t watch many of these videos when I was younger, but I do remember watching some Lego Cars2 Stop Motion videos that are luckily still up today. This reminded me of a video I saw where a kid was recreating the Cars2 deleted opening scene and had my stop motion version playing on his iPad in the background as the audio. He used colored Jenga blocks as some of the racers and sadly I can’t find the video anymore. I really liked it though because it showed me how much of an impact I had on the Cars Stop Motion community at the time. P.S. I couldn’t stop laughing when you showed the clip of the kid making the sound of the camera warming up
Thank you so much! I'm glad to talk about these seemingly always overlooked people who shaped the Cars community more than people think. Although low budget, I agree that remakes like the one you just mentioned have an incredible charm to them, especially the older ones on RUclips. Thanks again, and I'm glad the "dooooo" made you laugh. :)
It's a cool idea and definitely nice to see people actually computer animating for sure, but I'll never defend some of the stupid stuff he makes the characters do in those videos.

I recovered only the two you see in this video where he recreates the actual scene and does a bloopers version of that. The actual escape is lost but I still have a recording of my own recreation of it as a kid that is so similar, I just may upload it elsewhere one day. I recreated the part when he goes up the elevator, goes by Tyler and Fred on the Barrel Blowout, and then finally contacts Holley and Finn with a custom made LEGO communicator. When I found that after several years not knowing it existed, I was totally brought back and immersed into the World of Rod Redline Kid.
I grew up with the Cars Toy Circut, Man I miss the micro drifter era, classic thanks for the video, if possible, would you reupload these classics onto youtube?
if you still have them an you reupload the arel868576nmbtyn Death of Rod Torque Redline videos because the videos that you put in the description are now gone
Two things I find really funny about the Trunkovs and Cars meets Planes videos are the accent he gives to the Trunkovs and McQueen's dream sequence where he and Mater are transformed into planes and El Chupacabra appears, One case of found Lost Media that you could talk about in a future video is the Blu Collection himself, I was able to find a playlist with several of his unlisted videos just by searching for "Blu Collection", unfortunately most videos that are private will still unfortunately remain lost media, like a video he made of a Mater knock-off that he made that I know thanks to T Toy Reviews Ty
I absolutely love the Russian accents he gave the Trunkovs! It makes them so distinct. The only one it's out of place for is Grem being an American car, but I totally see how he thought it fit based on the expression of Grem with Weapon alone. In the ideal version, I think we can all agree Grem would be swapped with Zil as the main boss! I have a playlist of Blu Collection videos I made before he privated so many, it includes every one from 2010-13. While a good third or so is lost, most are in fact still there. The "show hidden videos" feature is so helpful in identifying which ones are gone.
I don't remember the guy who made the lemon customs, but I do remember the other ones. Especially the one with Doc being alive again was one I've been looking for for a while. Wasn't carstoysmovies also the one who made that series of shorts about Avalanche getting arrested, and being forced to help the lemons escape?
Yes, he is the same one. He had a slight change in video style between the Doc Hudson and Avalanche ones, including more playsets, but generally it is the same.
That is very helpful information, so they must have been deleted around there, thank you. I still remember that part very clearly too almost 10 years after first watching it. :)
One bit of media I don't know if it's lost or not is some fan made storyline of cloned cars led by an evil Rod Redline who was either cloned or brought back
I remember a lot of Cars RUclips lost media from 2017, a lot of Cars channels I used to watch like "Cal Weathers" "Cars Reviewer1234" either deleted or privated their videos, some other brazilian channels like "Afinetadas do Chick" and "Danny bro" (both of them I used to be mutuals with) also either deleted their channels or their Cars videos (and some others) I also remember a kids channel that made a custom Cars 3 Mcqueen before the official die-cast was released, they also made the Mcqueen Crash scene with a completely mangled mcqueen and a repair scene for him, although it was a generic YT kids channel I kinda wish i could see those videos again
Thanks! That my friend is from a showcase of my custom built Lizzie's Curios Shop you can find on my channel. It's not much of a remake, just one shot I filmed because I wanted to point out how the fence behind Lizzie's reminds me of that book. I'm glad you like it. :) I do plan to do an actual Hoodwinked remake someday!
Sometimes is so good travel in the past to remember the good things of the life (especially Cars), some of this videos inspirated me to make video of Cars (but in another types)
To be honest I used to watch CarsToysMovies when I was 6 years old though, I saw their 3d animations and they looked good. Too bad they're not making new videos anymore :(
I agree. The animation was quite impressive for an independent creator in 2016, but the childish themes of Happy Meals and such in comparison to the brilliantly done, rather serious story of Doc Hudson made me very sad to see as someone who discovered him through those more serious videos. Thanks for watching!
back around in 2013 i saw that hauler race and it was the only one time i did it for some reason like really i thought it was kinda boring or smth and i just moved on kinda missed it i guess but definitely not cars toys movies! that guy was hillarious! i remember even wondering back in the time i was like 8 or 9 of how the hell he did it so naturally and authentic XD but i gotta say, the camera was really stunning though oh boy, what a time it was! and i would never think of them all just fading away like a dust after the cleaning in the house...
Things get better with age! Yes, CarsToysMovies was quite funny with his voices while still being extremely professional with his camerawork! These are truly once in a lifetime content creators.
Hey brother, can you put the subtitles option? What happens is that I am from Latin America and I do not speak English, I wrote this thanks to the translator
Hello, I'm sorry but I don't know how to do that nor do I really have the time as it is very tricky to provide a line for line copy of the script in the video that is timed with when I say it. Hope you understand.
i could recall one myself actually, pretty niche but its worth a shot - it was like a model set video of the entire radiator springs town, or at least like the main parts of it? it had the tuner cars in the impound with their parking boot variations. the set seemed to all be up in the guys attic. it was set to the song "mr blue sky" and that aspect of it was the most rememorable part for me cus my dad always remembered me when he'd hear that song cus me and him watched the video together. it seems rly specific but its a nice childhood memory ive never been able to find again. if anybody knows of this vid or even remembers it i would love to know.
Yes, yes, yes! I know exactly the video you are talking about and believe it was by the famous TFcars95 who sadly privated most of his videos more than a few years ago. I at one point went back and watched them all while they were still up. I wish I saved some, especially that Radiator Springs showcase. :(
There was this one video of someone who had the really old Radiator Springs playsets. In it, McQueen gets a paintjob that was completely yellow, with no decals whatsoever. I cant find that for the life of me and honestly I dont know if anyone else even remembers it haha
Oh, not a problem. I know who you are talking about, he still exists. He did a couple live streams a year or two ago but now deleted them. I was almost gonna ask about his Cars videos. They're all still up though, here is the one you are talking about ruclips.net/video/uILA7CbntrE/видео.html
@@ijustlikeu4theimage I know, it was truly just as insane for me finding it for the first time. Though the videos are not recovered, I'm very happy those names are.

Yo do you remember a video about the cars toys being about a stolen piston cup idk if the video is still up but I can't find it basically it was a world grand prix and the winner got a piston cup chick Hicks steals it McQueen goes in a spaceship to get it back that's all I remember
@@hankhillofficialgaming2007 Oh, if it was someone playing with cars then I don't remember. Sorry. If it's that recent, it could still be out there if you remember the title or something close to it.
No subtitles on the video??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Correct, that's why I felt I should put RUclips in the title to not mislead people. By the way, I saw a comment of yours from a year ago I think critiquing On the Road and I can't help but agree. I really think it was nothing to be excited about and that point was proved when I watched it. Have your opinions changed since I wonder? I still can't help but feel the majority of it is not the same Cars we once knew and loved. :( Just interested to know your thoughts! :)
@@TheCarsShifter Oh good you've changed the title because the old one could confuse people LOL. Thank you! I'm glad I'm not the only one disappointed because that's exactly how I feel about it and yes, I still think the exact same thing sadly. It's like Pixar is not doing anything to make honor to the original film and I consider there are way better stories and things to bring to the franchise than a disconnected road trip with stuff we didn't need to know about (like Mater having a sister). Even fans have better ideas than Pixar and it upsets me because it was a wasted opportunity to give more to the franchise and not less but they don't listen to us and now that's been a year since the series came out, Pixar is pushing for people to go watch it on DIsney+ and they don't see we're so over it, people won't watch it again.
@@collector4437 Yup! Totally agree! It is so good to see people like you exist because it gives me some sort of hope. It is so well established in every piece of Cars media, heck even an Opel commercial, that Mater is from Radiator Springs and has never been outside of it in his life until presumably the Los Angeles race. I think the series seriously needs some sort of calling out but most would just hate on whoever does that sadly. So many interesting characters from the video games, books, and scrapped movie concepts that could be done and more but nope... we get stupid contradictions like Mater coming from a mansion. Perhaps the most out of character, insane thing they could have made up all these years later. We get no real life movie cars in the B-Movie episode like the Batmobile or whatever and instead some of the most cringe worthy, Zombie lookin' character designs I have ever seen. They may as well not even be Cars anymore like how pretty much everyone agrees that there is no reason for Thomas and Friends to be trains anymore considering how far removed they are from the concept of being a steam engine. I can't fathom how the Thomas community realizes that for their franchise but not the Cars community. I find it so pathetic how the Pixar Cars channel is trying to push the series now after suddenly realizing how poorly it did. People can think what they want, but it's all about respect in the end and if people can't have that, then I have no interest in trying to debate those kinds of people. Thank you for being both respectful and open minded!
@@TheCarsShifter I'm glad you mentioned the videogames cause I consider the story in those are a better sequel to the first movie than the actual Cars 2. I couldn't agree more with you and the B-Movie episode disappointed me completely cause I thought we'd actually SEE the movie with McQueen and Mater (Also I thought Sally'd make an appearence since the McDonalds game showed her there and IDK why) and instead we had McQueen getting jealous over Mater and the movie being replaced by a musical. The fact they're making different paintjobs for them in every episode just to sell toys it's what upsets me most, they care more about selling than creating a good story. The unnecesary amount of new characters to sell even more toys is annoying when fans just ask to see the RS gang back. And everyone is now asking for a Cars 4 while I don't want Pixar to touch the Cars franchise anymore, I just want them to let it rest cause they don't know how to make a proper continuity of the original, they don't bring something fascinating in any of the recent Cars projects at all. And don't worry, I'm open to hear what everyone think but sometimes we need to hear someone who takes it more seriously and someone to be able to put the fan part aside to look at what they're doing to our beloved franchise and talk about it openly. It's like we need to get it off our chest desperately. Well, I'm here for it :)
@@collector4437 That's great news! I totally agree that the various paint jobs were so obviously put in the show for the sake of selling more toys to people who want complete collections. Some of the designs like the Scientist or Zombie Mater are so insanely bad that they are on the level of some of the stuff Mattel did to Thomas if you ask me. It's sad that people fall for it because I really think these big corporations know they can take advantage of such people. I'm proud to say I bought very few diecasts from the show and have stopped since. I cannot agree with you more that I just want the RS gang back more than anything else. If they want to sell toys, why not make scrapped characters like Zil, the Yellow Car, the town Mayor "The Tub," or video game characters like the remaining Mater Cousins, Queens Gang, etc, etc! Why not even more retro Piston Cup racers to fill the eras we never saw in the movies? Why not the rest of the damaged Piston Cup racers finally? And I don't wanna hear people say "they're too violent!" Or why not iconic cancelled releases like Trev Diesel? They don't get that you don't need a current show to sell toys, I mean look how bad it did if the Pixar Cars channel now has to promote it without the viewer having to pay a price. I sadly think Cars 4 is going to be their next project if Toy Story 5 is now happening. That thing they said about "no more sequels" is now thrown out the window and from what I've learned, the franchise that makes the most money is the franchise that gets a sequel. I feel as if there is no passion left in the franchise from the design of the toy packages to the content itself. I mean, the current diecast cardback is now a flipping cartoon! At least in the Cars 2 days there was still a clear passion and effort being put into it with John Lasseter still there as the head of the line of course, whatever people choose to think of him. Without him, it's simply not Cars because it's his baby after all. Look at the incredible decline in Cars content since he left. It's sad and quite obvious. I enjoy the franchise being alive for the sake of having an active community on RUclips, but man, if it's not gonna be good, just let it rest already. That's just my thought process, and once again people can think what they wish. I sort of liked the Salt Flats episode but that's not saying much. I still think there are areas for improvement literally everywhere and chose not to watch a second season unless my mind is somehow blown.
This video almost made me cry, I remember all of those videos, some of the first pieces of media I consumed from the internet and definately created more memories that I will never forget

These videos were my childhood I remember watching them when I was like 8
So do I.

Sorry, I don't plan to. Remakes in general have halted for me as they were very time consuming and hard to keep active with.
@@TheCarsShifter Ok
I remember watching the cars toys movies videos around 2016 and for some reason I still remember the end when McQueen said hey mater where's guido
That is very helpful information, so they must have been deleted around there, thank you. I still remember that part very clearly too almost 10 years after first watching it. :)
Nice
One bit of media I don't know if it's lost or not is some fan made storyline of cloned cars led by an evil Rod Redline who was either cloned or brought back
I remember a lot of Cars RUclips lost media from 2017, a lot of Cars channels I used to watch like "Cal Weathers" "Cars Reviewer1234" either deleted or privated their videos, some other brazilian channels like "Afinetadas do Chick" and "Danny bro" (both of them I used to be mutuals with) also either deleted their channels or their Cars videos (and some others)
I also remember a kids channel that made a custom Cars 3 Mcqueen before the official die-cast was released, they also made the Mcqueen Crash scene with a completely mangled mcqueen and a repair scene for him, although it was a generic YT kids channel I kinda wish i could see those videos again
I believe I do remember that McQueen crash you are talking about!
I remember CarsToyzMovies old videos. I hate the garbage he posts today though.

Thanks! That my friend is from a showcase of my custom built Lizzie's Curios Shop you can find on my channel. Yes, I like it so I can buy it and make more custom lemons. Not so much the character.
Sometimes is so good travel in the past to remember the good things of the life (especially Cars), some of this videos inspirated me to make video of Cars (but in another types)
Yes, it is indeed good to travel to the past sometimes! It's given us so much that will never be topped.
@@TheCarsShifterif found cars take flight
To be honest I used to watch CarsToysMovies when I was 6 years old though, I saw their 3d animations and they looked good. Too bad they're not making new videos anymore :(
I agree. The animation was quite impressive for an independent creator in 2016, but the childish themes of Happy Meals and such in comparison to the brilliantly done, rather serious story of Doc Hudson made me very sad to see as someone who discovered him through those more serious videos. Thanks for watching!

I know this is going to be weird but for next year can you remake the plane’s movie scenes
I'd like to! I just don't know if I have the time or space.
i could recall one myself actually, pretty niche but its worth a shot - it was like a model set video of the entire radiator springs town, or at least like the main parts of it? it had the tuner cars in the impound with their parking boot variations. the set seemed to all be up in the guys attic. it was set to the song "mr blue sky" and that aspect of it was the most rememorable part for me cus my dad always remembered me when he'd hear that song cus me and him watched the video together. it seems rly specific but its a nice childhood memory ive never been able to find again. if anybody knows of this vid or even remembers it i would love to know.

These are not ACTUAL lost media, just fan made footage people did back in the day.
Nothing original from Pixar at all.
