Hey there! This is Masuku! Voice of Sonic, Xain and Knux! And I got a couple of things to say about this one!
Now, this may not be the song I've grown on meeting Nominal with.
But it has grown and stuck to me on an emotional state that this song just became something special to me. The title, the theme, the screaming that *I MYSELF* did for this (Referring to the "GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" quote) and just everything else about it.
It stuck to me so much in both a physical and mental way and you guys have no god damn idea how happy I was to help Nominal out on making this. Recording the chromatics and the lines was the most fun I've had on a project since a while. Second only to my real project, Messverse.
But overall, this is a banger. Much love to the Tails VA, super cool and talented. And also the artists who helped out on making some of the artwork featured in this video! Let's not forget about Nominal. Thank you for offering me to help out on this fucking masterpiece. I will never forget.

To me, this song symbolizes fighting the fears of pain and regret, because in order to become a better person, one must confront the person they are now in order to grow. In my eyes, Xain represents Sonics struggle as a hero, the fate of the world always rests on his shoulders. Sonic couldn’t show an ounce of doubt because that would be a sign that all hope is lost. Sonic feels he has let everyone that he loves down, and Xain is exploiting that for his own benefit. In the original, it seemed like at the end all hope was lost. In this one however, just when sonic is about to give up, the two people who he holds dear to his heart come back to give him the same advice he gave them, that allowed them to grow as a person. This gives sonic hope, and is ultimately rising up to defeat Xain, not just to get closure for his friends, but a new start for sonic.

Ah so now I know why it's called a "Remembrance Mix".
It isn't just to have the viewers remember this song, it's to give the fact that Sonic remembers who was always on his side, even if they are gone now.
Remembering them for who they were before and not what they are now and holding onto that in an attempt to finally regain control of his mind.
That is a powerful feeling right there.
I'm not sure if this will affect the Breaking Point Remembrance Mix in terms of plot if there is gonna be one.
But good job Nominal, hitting us with a new take on a classic.

i feel like Breaking Point Remembrance Mix will just be a different outcome, were instead of remembering his friends, the insanity went into his head, and thus, dark fleetway appears LMAO
I feel like this version can be considered a "good ending" of sorts since instead of Sonic submitting(?), he actually fights back for his friend, no matter if they are dead or alive

1:03, It's great, this is how I pretty much always imagined this part of Lost My Mind.
4:10, Also love how you took the little speech Sonic gave Tails from Reason to Hide and had Tails and Knuckles saying it to Sonic, and I love how it's not just a copy and paste from RtH, it has those little parts of them being like "yeah, you told us this" and stuff. That "We always have" from Tails and Knuckles almost made cry. So yes this is a 40/10 song.

Dude these are genuinely a great idea, remembrance mixes seem like your own personal encore versions and even if they don’t go under that name I’d love to see more remasters like this! The video editing and art itself has improved so much since you first started posting stuff like this, great job to everyone involved!

Man I love the detail that Sonic's quills are Xanthus' purple rather than his own blue as well as having paler skin (like Xanthus), with Xain now having his blue quills and tan skin, emphasizing how little left of a grip Sonic had on merely himself.

The Schizomania and Reason To Hide References really caught me off guard, and I’m glad that they were in this remix, seriously, phenomenal job!
This combination of Schizomania's ending along with Lost's my mind style is just awesome. The new vocals are really nice, especially the new scream. The mix of old vocals, mini instrumental moments, and even Knuckles and Tails at the end. This whole song is something completely new, yet also so old that it provides a new twist that everyone has been wanting. Keep it up man! You rock!

The way you really nailed Sonic's raw emotion, the new chromatics and everything, it shows this battle he was giving his EVERYTHING to fight back the monster in his head. And when things were looking grim his friends came to remind him of the advice he gave them. It's so beautiful and heartwarming, it really shows your improvement as not just a musician/composer, but also as a storyteller! You're doing awesome Nominal and I'm excited to see where this new era of your EXE AU takes you!

This, by far, has to be my favorite song from your channel, closely followed by the fighters and the Majin and Unused special song. The og Lost My Mind was such a banger, and with the updated anger parts and the new knuckles and tails part, it makes it better than any sort of remix that could have been made for it. Great job nominal, and keep improving.

This song honestly had me in tears because when tails and knuckles showed up it reminded me that even when my friends seem like they’re being mean, don’t care about me, and didn’t believe in me, they truly did because even through hard times they helped me feel better, and even if I got too scared to talk to someone if something bad happened, they did for me and stood up for me.

This is honestly just very beautiful, especially when Tails and Knuckles come in. Well done!! You can feel the pain and agony Sonic is expressing through his voice which makes this a 10/10 remake in my opinion!

I absolutely LOVE this song, visuals, theme, art, etc
Something I LOVE is how the original version sounded a lot more hopeless and looking at the cover art it looked like if sonic had no control whatsoever of his mind and no hope of gaining control. In the end of the original felt like it was over for sonic, he will never gain his body back no matter how hard he tried. It sounded sad and depressing. HOWEVER, In this one the songs a lot more upbeat and you can see sonic from crying to actually end up fighting his control. Then when thinking about tails and knuckles he decides to go all out. Then looking at the art instead of sonic losing control he’s now GAINING control. The ending sounds a lot more hopeful then the original as he fights of the demon in his mind. I love the story in your vids and I’m very proud of you for not giving up even after the false accusations. Keep up the great work!

I love how in the beginning sonic and xain are apart and grow closer together over the course of the beginning of the song. And after tails and knuckles help Sonic, they are apart. Kinda shows xains hold over sonic until he regains control with the help of his friends.

Dude, this is awsome. Not only was it a REALLY FUNKIN GOOD SONG! But it also had sooo good sprites that we could imagine more of whats going on with sonic. Also on 1:00 I just love the way he says it, like we could hear on his voice that he had a really bad time. And i love the part where knuckles & tails shows up. seriously, i almost started crying.

What even IS Xain?
From what I can guess he's probably either an Exe, or some kind of parasytic entity. Or a mix of both

Xain is a version of sonic.Exe from another universe but he actually had to fight sonic to take over his body, sonic was obviously losing. Then xain goes and kills first tails, then knuckles, and finally Eggman, making sonic watch the whole time.
