Coconut carob "fudge" balls! Put Carob, unsweetened coconut flakes, creamy peanut butter, sesame tahini, mejol dates, sea salt, cinnamon, nutmeg in the food processor. Shape into balls, put in the freezer. They are so freakin good :) i think the tahini made them really unique

The secret to get Carob to taste more chocolatey is vanilla and malt powder. I am allergic to chocolate and I can make carob brownies that I share with my dog. The ingredient that kills dogs is what I am allergic to.

There's an awesome Carob Milk Bar made by The Carob Kitchen. Minimal ingredients, no added sugar, organic carob and cocoa butter. Best part for me is no more acne. I think the processed sugar in the mainstream chocolate bars (Cadbury, Nestle etc.) really gave me bad acne.

I add carob syrup in my porridge. It’s very nice and goes well with the ground cinnamon and cloves I also add.
I would say carob has a mild caramel taste but is no way a chocolate substitute. They are indeed very different.

Chocolate is crap basically. A hunk of fat mixed with stimulants. And then it has antioxidants so people use that as a justification for eating chocolate everyday. Gotta get my antioxidants because only this block of chocolate that im addicted to has antioxidants

I love carob and its flavor and I think it tastes very much like chocolate but only when its made just like chocolate is made with milk powder or coconut powder.

I didn't realize carob was naturally sweet. I'd never acquired a taste for it because my mother tried to trick us as kids and used the old "it tastes like chocolate" line. May have to give it another try with my "grown up" palette.

I've never heard of Carob either. I'd be willing to try it though, I'm very curious what it tastes like.

I uses both in my smoothies, yum. When I use one I uses the other which the other is cacao. I have not had a problem with no chocolate. Hurray for me.

I prefer carob because I stay away from all things caffinated. In your opinion is there a difference between cocoa bean and coco bean?

Thanks for the info. I always hear that carob is a chocolate alternative. I didn't know that they taste completely different. So does carob taste similar to anything?

Very few foods can be classed as "unhealthy" or "healthy". Whatever that means anyway. Could you please explain to me why "Sugar, fat/coco butter is unhealthy".

Huh??!!?? Where did this come from? Anyway i was just simply asking her because i never really see many people promote carob as a sub for chocolate but Seventh Day Adventist Christians that are into health. Seeing that i am Seventh-Day Adventist Christian i had to ask. I was just Sincerely asking. I don't think she should see a problem with it why should you? It is just a question. What, are you her bodyguard?

As a side note: Cocoa powder would be the way to go over Chocolate. Reason being is that Chocolate is absolutely loaded with fat, where as Cocoa powder has most of the fat removed.

Raw cacao is just as unhealthy as chocolate because it had this toxic ingredient that drugs and nicotine have. I researched this.

What difference does it make... no offense. I don't know if she is or not but her food won't taste better or worse, if she is christian or not. I think you are asking the wrong question on a food video. This isn't a video about beliefs. I am not against not openly talking about beliefs... but I think the middle of a food video has nothing to do with beliefs. I suggest you look for a video on God and Christianity if you want that. No offense again. I just think this is not the time or place.
