      Yes they are, and the other creatures I find just as terrifying are the Komodo Dragons. They are like crocodiles, but on land.

      Ha you should see Komodo dragons! Absolutely insane! Worst animal to watch eat because they either tear their prey apart while they’re alive very slowly, or they swallow them whole if they can fit it in their mouth which is absolutely huge! Look it up!

      Yup it was probably screaming for a while inside its stomach. Seen other videos like this with sound and you could hear muffled screams inside when the cameraman was closer.

    As many Crocodile videos i have watched, i have never seen one swallow a live animal whole like a Komodo, i have never seen a video of one so big either. I cant believe this is my first time seeing this video. Says its a year old. My goodness

    I remember when I was a kid watching big cat diary and the same thing happened during the great migration. One of the host mentioned that a Thompson gazelle is the same size as a sheep to put in perspective how big Nile crocodiles can get. 🤯

      Yeah, but not a gator, you wouldn't mistake a tiger for a lion now would you? It's a crocodile, and not just any, a Nile version, largest in Africa and it holds close second largest to the salt water croc ( Difference in length between largest measured specimen is about 2 or 3 feet) ...

      My fault for not being an expert... technically they are the same type of animal though... different snouts...one prefers salt water to fresh water...and the aggression is about the only difference

      @@adamcouto3100 yeah... both Nile and Saltwater Crocodiles are another level up of complete savage. They are not only much more aggressive, they are much stronger with stronger bites, and will hunt _anything_ (including humans) near their habitat, when they choose to, and when opportunistic to.
      The water they inhabit often has zero visibility, but they can detect ripples from potential prey. And their death rolls are inescapable.

    Nile Crocs are KING. Australia has some monsters but the raw killing power of Nile's is unmatched. My claim stems from the fact that these beasts must compete and survive in an arena that is unmatched anywhere else in the world.

      @@A_Final_Hit That's not a juvenile, its an Adult. It is however a Thomson's Gazelle, which is a smallish animal, about 3ft ( almost 1m) in length. Thus, that is a 17 - 20ft croc definitely.

      It's never seen a crocodile. Sure we know what they are, but a gazelle doesn't have David Attenborough documentaries on dvd. It's used to lions and hyenas being the things it has to worry about. This big, slow, rock thing doesn't look like a threat...and it has no idea how lightning fast crocs can be when they want to.
