I saw Mr. Puzzle solve this. I had it figured out in like a minute when I figured out the magnet thing. It reminds me of those old number sliders, where you're trying to get the numbers in order after scrambling them, but without a set place for each number, and just having to get a magnetic piece to the right spot.
Man, that was a good trick! However, I can just kinda *kinda* see the edge of the spade 5 behind your neck earlier in the vid (0:58)... Dunno what it means, because the chain does not seem to spin during the reveal... I dunno. One question: Is the deck clean after the trick? Again, great trick!
I can't figure out how he moved it down, but he definitely very carefully hides his neck-area with the 5 from the deck and the rest of the deck when he spreads it. It disappears from the back of his neck as soon as it goes behind the 5 from the deck as he's showing it off. EDIT: Nevermind, I see how it worked. I won't reveal it publicly though.

Speaking of puzzle stashes: Hosted a party once, and created a simple puzzle. Insisted everybody put their car keys in a beer mug in the freezer. I figured people who /really/ didn't need to drive wouldn't remember, and a handful did take quite a while to figure out where they were. At least they were a LOT more sober by the time they remembered, and were more open to having our DDs (we had a kinda complicated system with delayed drinkers and those that didn't drink, and a handful of off work bouncers that could be very convincing) drive them home. Not a crazy party, just a lot of wonderfully crazy people. Found out later people were still talking about that party several months later, and not negatively. Did a head count at one point and there were at least 40 people either inside or in the back yard, and estimates were that over 100 people cycled through. You /know/ it's a good party when you stayed up until just before dawn, wake up around 3 or 4pm and there is MORE alcohol on the premises than when you started. :P
