I feel bad for Jefferson, he kinda saved the team multiple times with ridiculous catches and even a fumble recovery. But hats off to Detroit as they have won their division for the first time since 1993! 🎉
Best catch I’ve seen all season late in the game.
When was the fumble recovery? I want to see it. Lions fan here but he was so awesome I had to just appreciate his athleticism during the game. My daughters were taunting him after the game and I told them to stop and be more consoling than triumphant towards him in particular. It’s ok to be triumphant towards your own team

Jefferson was the game MVP, and I'm a Lions fan. But it's a team sport, and there's only so much an individual effort can do. We've been through that with Sanders, Megatron, and Stafford in Detroit.

I'm an Eagles fan and have been since I discovered the sport in the early 2000s here in Belgium but always had a soft spot for the Lions. looking at these Lions I can't help but think what a team this would have been with a Barry Sanders on it. My dad would be so proud! Back in the ‘90s I was a little girl going to all of the Lions home games with my dad. We had season tickets for about 10 years. We were lucky enough to see Barry and the team win the division! My dad passed 3 years ago. He was diehard! He never wavered in his support of his team. I know he’d be so proud of his boys today! Jared Goff is playing way better than he did when he was on the Rams. You can see that he has really grown as a quarterback and the amazing part about his transformation is that he plays better than Stafford did when he was the Lions quarterback..

From a Patriots fan that has seen success ever since I followed sports in 2003, I want to say my congratulations to the Detroit Lions for winning their first NFC North title (the division was formed in 2002) and first division title in 30 years. They look primed and destined for long term success, maybe not 6 Super Bowls in 17 years (although you never know) but I could see this being the start of division dominance for many years to come.
