As a Vikings fan, I was wondering how bad we would lose. I watched the whole game in shock and had to pinch myself constantly. Never seen the O-line play this good
Addison look sick too! Kirk didnt lose a step with Addison stepping up and JJ out... Finally they realize that KJ Osborn should have never been the #2 receiver

-Kirk put the team on his back
-450+ yards of offense against one of the best if not the best nfl defense

The O-line has to be one of the biggest improvements in the Vikings' game today...the whole team played well so not to detract from the team effort...but zero sacks on Cousins speaks to the heart of the O-line in this game against the 49'ers.
Also about Cousins who took a few hits after throwing the ball. He played as good and courageous as anyone that I can remember.
They played OK. Cousins made them look good by getting rid of the ball and avoiding pressure.

The Oline was never bad this season but this was 100% they’re best game and was Kirks best game in his career
49ers have a great dline too. oline showed up
Ward & Addison crazy matchup. One steals a pick from the other. The other rips one for a touchdown. Football at its finest👏

Kirk Cousins has entered the "Crafty Veteran" phase of his career.
The fact the Vikings won this with JJ gone and Addison and Hockenson in and out of the game is astounding. It was great to see Powell make the plays when needed and even Triston Jackson and N’Keal Harry coming in. This goes to show the WR room is STACKED in Minnesota.
Powell was outstanding tonight, 2 picks in critical situations, and a great performance all around!!

I didn't know who Powell was before this game, but he made some big plays. Addison, Powell, and Hock stepped up big with JJ being out.

A lot of costly mistakes by Purdy the last two games. Vikings OL gave Cousins excellent protection.
That fumble by Christian McCaffrey is what turned the whole game around for the Vikings

Wow, what a shootout. I hate the niners, but even I thought the Vikings didn't stand a chance. Pleasantly surprised!
The Vikings EARNED this win. Kirk Cousins played very well and got the ball out fast, and the offensive line never gave up a single sack. Jordan Addison had a hell of a game, even ripping out an intercepted ball one time. Alexander Mattison also had some good rushing carries. The defense held them to 17, which is even more impressive and the 49ers never had a lead in this game.
Now, the 49ers? Well, the defense did not play well. The pass rush was terrible, the secondary was getting burned even when Justin Jefferson was not in the game, and there were some undisciplined penalties giving the Vikings many field goal attempts. Brock Purdy had some critical interceptions which sealed the game. The offense's only bright spot was CMC, which shows how important he is to their offense.
The 49ers are still 5-2, but this game is a massive wakeup call. They've lost their edge defensively, not getting as many sacks compared to last year and they have a major weakness over the middle of the field throughout their secondary. They play the off-their-bye Bengals who are looking to pick up some steam. This loss doesn't help AT ALL.
That Vikings offensive look's like the 49er offensive from one or two years ago.
Let's give the O-line some credit. NOT ONE SACK! And 'small' things like how the Vikings picked up blitzes to give kirk just enough time to make the throws he needed to make
Well now we know Purdy is an average quarterback and not great but the defense isn’t all that great either so we got a lot of issues to deal with in a long season. I’ve seen teams go 7-0 and miss the playoffs. We’re the best team in football without injuries but we’re going nowhere without Williams Deebo and Christian. We’re less than mediocre without them. And why did Aiyuk disappear?🤦🏾♂️
It goes to show all quarterbacks are human and screw up. A couple weeks ago everyone was slamming Dak Prescott but now that's forgotton.
Addison is a future star, that vikings offense is good now and has a bright future

Why in the hell did 49ers get rid of robbie gould? The guy was clutch, this rookie is pretty shakey !
Gould was a free agent and wanted to sign with a team close to or in Chicago. Gould also had short kickoffs landing on the 10 yard line and he hurt himself a couple of times in making tackles on the kick returner outrunning the special teams guys. Moody can kick off long for touchbacks but looks shaky in field goal tries so far.

Rewatching this before the 9ers play the ravens. Everything just went wrong for the 9ers. CMC fumble in the RedZone.. missed fg.. the last second TD before the half. The defense played sloppy allowing a lot of yards on screens something the ravens do well. BP didn't play bad this game. He had a couple of mistakes.. I'm worried #27 on the 9ers will miss open field tackles. Will see how it goes
