I'm someone who isn't really a Romance person but I absolutely ADORE Yang and Blake's relationship progression. Both me and my Wife were in tears when they kissed.
i was absolutely sobbing during our reaction. i can’t believe it’s real.
While it was nice, I think I would've rather the confession happen in the next volume and on their own terms. I don't really like that they were pretty much being told to confess.
@@monsunoguy19 Neither were forced, they could've just stood there on the rickety bridges until the Punderstorm passed. They chose to confess, and at least to me Blake seemed to already know Yang loved her.
@@FullmetalNinja25 Suppose that's true, I guess in my opinion the whole bridge allegory felt more restrictive opposed to the endless walkways the others had. Actually, it may have been better for Blake and Yang to take the endless paths, looking back on the past and slowly coming to terms to their feelings until the flow leads to it.
Also going back to the bridge scene, I guess why I say they were pretty much given an ultimatum, either confess and be together, or stay on a rickety bridge, that you may or may not fall from, and wait out a storm. Yes they came to the decision on their own, but it still doesn't sit right with me.

I’m sure a lot of the nay-sayers are going to claim that the confession was sudden, forced, or demanded. But, I disagree. I never liked the expression “fall in love”, it makes love sound more spontaneous than it is, and the same goes for these two. They didn’t just “fall” in love. They fought for it, step by step. Against themselves, their fears, their doubts, their traumas, their losses, and no shortage of external forces (I.E. Adam and Ilya). That scene was a long time in the making and I don’t think any love scene was ever so deep, beautiful, and more than anything else: earned. They deserve this

Like Monty said, “All good love is earned.” Not just for the audience, but for those in the relationship. We didn’t just earn it, they earned it too.

Such a beautiful love story. The people who say this was sudden and came out of nowhere clearly are blind, intentionally or otherwise.
I think those people are just the ones who watched the newer volumes. Not like the ones that were there since vol 1. And I’m one that been rooting for this series since it first came out. I’m so thankful for the team and Monty for such a masterpiece story.
When Yang and Blake say “I love you,” the transition that takes them from the bridge to each other, was so beautifully done! I got chills and cried during this scene! 😭🥹

FINALLY some1 who talks about that ADORABLE Little Squeak Ruby did when she Saw BLake and Yang Kissing. WAS... SOOOO GOSH... DARN... CUTE. I LOVED IT.
Thanks for putting a compilation of some of the moments that showed how they really grew into this. I hate that people say it came out of nowhere even though it's been hinted and shown throughout the whole run of the show .
Also finally seeing them say they love each other and kiss is what we've all been waiting for. I love how Blake immediately says she loves her back, the scenes so well done...
Honestly if you have to make a compilation to show it, then it was poorly written. Just like the final season of GOT they had a series of flashback phrases play to try and convince you that Danny was turning bad. I love RWBY and the characters, I'm fine with Yang and Blake getting together, but past establishments and characters were written out and forgotten about to make it happen. I don't dislike them getting together, just the poor writing that was made to do so. Not to mention the hand fisted times the show had to remind you or force you to know they area thing, like the Ren and Nora scene talking about it.

Nah she waited another whole like 7 volumes before she came out

I love how the animation gotten better over the years and the volume. And also how the tone of that song I hear in the background ALWAYS GETS ME, I literally cry every time I hear it and I'm going to go back to hearing it again so I can feel the pain again, it hurts but you know that it feels SO GOOD TO SEE THEM KISS!! 🥰😍🥲

Been shipping them from the jump! I squealed when they finally admitted their love and kissed. Their chemistry is a big part of what kept me watching.
Chapter 6 has always been theirs. It brought them together more than before.
I don't think I've ever been more emotionally invested in a fictional story character relationship than Bumbleby. Throughout my watching of the RWBY volumes I was definitely interested in the story and the other characters for sure, but I LIVED for these moments when we got to see the relationship develop between Blake and Yang.

Yeah, given how they acted since the start, it seemed like thats where it was going, which is good. I dislike when writers change relationships and such like this just to fit some currently "trendy" agenda because it always feels forced. This didnt feel forced, and they took their time with it.

The fact that Barbara and Arryn stayed quiet about canonizing BMBLB for a whole decade… and that it’s been in the works since very very early on. Seems like the “this doesn’t follow Monty’s vision” crowd need to find something else to complain about.
I’ve watched this show since the Red trailer came out when RVB 10 was finished. 10 years is a long time. The wait was worth it.

That had to be the most beautiful and romantic moment in this entire franchise I always knew they'd be good together I can't wait to see where the relationship takes them now I realize when Blake has to tell Sun that she is in love with someone else it's going to be a difficult conversation for them to have but some things are just meant to be

The entirety of the season 9 scene of them I was shouting, “PLEASE LET IT HAPPEN,” and when they finally kissed I shouted the loudest “WOOOOOOO” in my entire life
I'll be honest, I'd really fallen out of love with RWBY the past few years. Not gonna harp on issues because there's already so many people all over the internet who've said it better than I ever could. But volume 9 just feels different somehow, in the best way. Everything I've ever complained about is being addressed. Hell, Curious brought up how boring exposition is and it _didn't_ feel like lampshading! And episode 6 just sealed the deal for me. RWBY's finally saying "screw it, we're doing this." Ten years is a lot longer than I wanted to wait, but this feels earned, and it honestly gives me hope for the series as a whole. I mean, I haven't been truly invested for years now, but I still teared up over the kiss. It's like we toughed it through a rough patch, and now we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.
A Beautiful scene and I'm happy for them, but all I'm hoping is that something terrible doesn't happen to one or both of them now. After all, that seems to be how RWBY works nowadays.
Here's hoping for some kind of happy ending.
