X had been talking about wanting to die both due to the grief of finding a friend's body in the hotel they were sharing and due to his own wrong doings, when he finally started giving back to the world and trying to make right for his wrongs as well as him finally actually wanting to live with the birth of his son, that's when he was murdered or assassinated. Juice is the only one who really died due to his vices and even then those around him say Lotti might've been enabling him

I made music during this era and man it was a dark time, I almost took my own life. I had started to believe every word I was singing was the only way to "live". I'm proud to say I'm 5 years sober but sad it took the loss of so much family, friends and my favorite artists to make me appreciate the life I have.
