What trends and makeup our mothers (guardians, sisters, family members)used, and what we learned from them. ☺ My grandmother was from the Greatest Generation, and I remember that she never went anywhere without powder and lipstick. She used Ponds cold cream and was meticulous about taking care of her skin. My mother (who will be celebrating her 81st birthday this week!) always more bright, blue-based red, I thought it looked so gorgeous with her fair skin and dark hair. She looked like a young Liz Taylor, only with a sweeter disposition. (My grandmother called it "Brazen Hussy Red"! Lol) Zabrena always looks so gorgeous in bright red lipstck! (She is beautiful in any makeup look, or even without makeup!) 😊 Have a blessed and happy Mother's Day, and I am sending warm thoughts to those of you who don't have anyone to share this special day. 💓💖💕

I just love that you pack so much information into a shorter video. I don’t always have 20-30 minutes but the is so much info packed into this 11ish minute video!! I haven’t tried these and I’ve heard mixed reviews but I may pick up a couple to try.
Well, I'm convinced you can make dust off an old boot look good on your eyes - every dang look was so gorgeous!! I really didn't think I was going to like the warmer-toned quints but you pulled each look off beautifully. Brava!!!

If you are a fan of satin-finish shadows & have never tried the eyeshadow singles from the brand Coastal Scents, I highly encourage you to try some of their satins. Their formula is very nice. Coastal Scents occasionally runs a 99¢ per shadow sale, so you can sign-up for their email or follow them on IG to know when those are upcoming. I normally gravitate towards more sparkly shadows, but occasionally get in the mood for a satin on the lid, & theirs does not disappoint. They blend nicely with their mattes, & they have a wonderful color selection. I find that reading the reviews also helps me decide which ones are best & gives me more insight into the tones of the colors. 😉👍🏻💕
@@scotzmnswife I was going to say the same! I just ordered some coastal scents and actually enjoy their subtle satin finish. Shimmers now seem to be more pigmented and chunky with lots of fall out. For a subtle day-to-day or office look, the coastal scents work nicely and I love how I don’t get little pieces of glitter fall out on my face.

Lol, when you said at the beginning of the video that you were disappointed with one of them I KNEW you were talking about the Petalette palette. I've been with you since Jet was a little baby so I know your love for that original. I have the Camo-flaunt one and it's such a letdown. I ended up scraping that glitter shade (the middle one) out and I put it in a little pot to use on my nails because that's all it's good for. From their 10 pan palettes, I have the Heart & Sol one and it's become my go-to palette this Spring. It's just so pretty and peachy!

Was very excited to try the walking on eggs shells as it has been a personal fave since I was 16 (been repurchased so many times over the last 14 years) but I wasn’t too happy with the new version. I still feel like the formula when it was a trio was better.

@@DanielleNicoleMakeup I know. I just cleansed my face with their cleansing balm then moisturized with their Holy Hydration followed by the hydrating facial oil. My bathroom counter looks like an Elf display lol.

I just uploaded a video doing a tutorial on that one specifically and I was so blown away with how quick and easy I could create a glam look. I liked the look you’re displaying. When wearing makeup to work, it’s more appropriate to appear more muted than bold - at least working with the public. I liked the honest reviews and it’s nice the pallets are coordinated to pick one and done.

When you demonstrated the Pettlette quad palette I immediately bought it because I love Purples. The Sundazed and the Lucky Charms Palette I love and am going to give them a try. Thanks Beautiful for sharing these new 5 pan palettes.
I used the Petalette palette on Easter for a pretty Spring look and I did a beautiful smoky purple eye with it. Actually I ended up loving it. The only thing I did find the new formulated Wet N' Wild palettes are very much more powdery than the old formula, totally agree. That is fine if you had a different experience than I did with the petalette palette. Now it is one of my favorite small eyeshadow palettes to use. Love your channel Zabrena.

I got the walking on eggshells and love it. Have the older version too. Love them both. What is funny is I think I am going to actually buy the petalette one for the very reasons you didn’t like it. I had the walking on eggshells trio. I missed the quad so I was super happy to get the new one and I agree. It’s perfect. One of my daily faves! I’m not as fair as Zabrena and it still works great for me!

i feel like i cant seem to find but a few colors (on a good day) that look nice on me one eye shadow that is my favorite and always looks good on me and that loreals 24 hr amber rush. best shadow ever and i believe it can look good on every eye color and skin tone... but you are so good at putting on your eyeshadow that you can wear any color & they all look great on you!
I got the quad Petalette a while back after your glowing review; sad that you were disappointed with the new one! I do think the new one still looks nice on you; as soon as the video started I was like 'oh my goodness her eyes are gorgeous!' XD I was initially a bit let down by the lavender-ish purple from the quad, so it's good to hear it got improved! It would be neat to see a side-by-side comparison of the quad and quint versions of Petalette and Eggshells! I will definitely be trying some of these palettes out ASAP. Thanks for the video!
I thought I was looking at the elf eyeshadow 4 eyeshadow pan design! But these are in a 5 pan and have more colour and finish selections. Great try on video!

Try using your finger to apply the shimmers. You won't get as much fall out and the colors will be better pigmented. 😊

I had the walking on eggshells trio. I missed the quad so I was super happy to get the new one and I agree. It’s perfect. One of my daily faves! I’m not as fair as Zabrena and it still works great for me!

i feel like i cant seem to find but a few colors (on a good day) that look nice on me one eye shadow that is my favorite and always looks good on me and that loreals 24 hr amber rush. best shadow ever and i believe it can look good on every eye color and skin tone... but you are so good at putting on your eyeshadow that you can wear any color & they all look great on you!
I got the quad Petalette a while back after your glowing review; sad that you were disappointed with the new one! I do think the new one still looks nice on you; as soon as the video started I was like 'oh my goodness her eyes are gorgeous!' XD I was initially a bit let down by the lavender-ish purple from the quad, so it's good to hear it got improved! It would be neat to see a side-by-side comparison of the quad and quint versions of Petalette and Eggshells! I will definitely be trying some of these palettes out ASAP. Thanks for the video!

hi Sabrina great videos I enjoy all of them learning so much I have the smaller palette with the pink sand plums you saving me money but you know I'm not just a difference in how that applied when I use mine I mean I had a lot of success with it my eyes are hazel so this is one that I really prefer great work keep it up have a great light great weekend thank you
I have all of these pallets from wet and wild besides the walking on eggshells and that's only because of my skin tone I love these pallets even though the one called Paulette is kind of soft and not a dark shadow s color I kind of like it for an everyday look but to each his own 🙃 thank you for the quick review and the details the looks were beautiful on you Z 💋🎨👸🌻😁💕
