He is in his seventies but still world’s foremost performers on the Electronic Valve Instrument (EVI), a wind synthesizer invented by Nyle Steiner. And a complete free spirit and synth nut. Also amazing composer and improviser. Would be lovely to see a video with him and Andrew. Both has such positive energy ❤
The all white "empty canvas" theme is actually pretty genius.
The best part... "for some reason everybody thinks I live in L.A." :'-D
Is no one else wondering how he did that intro...Like where did he even come from...
he just jumped really high because hes amazing then cut the jump out, the sound effect really helped make it feel like he just fell from the sky tho
Pretty sure he dropped down from his raised up drum area, didn't he?
@@JONxxxINSANITY Correct, he entered the frame completely from the top, so he must have jumped from a higher point behind the camera. Landing on your feet backwards, that's the hard part.
Wide-angle lens distortion makes it look like he jumped from a lot higher than he actually did. He just jumped off his drum riser from behind the camera.
He climbed up to the roof and then jumped down from the skylight he showed in the video. How else would the camera shake like that? Duh
Andrew, Man Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge. I'm a singer, songwriter & producer in Orlando, Fl working on as many hits as I can and have been building my home studio setup using Apollo Twin, Adam Audio speakers, Ableton, Nuimann TLM 102 with Serum, Omnisphere etc. Thanks for the great vids brov.
Love the dungeon feel studio environ but I love the white minimal studio feel equally. The pro of the white minimal is that you could darken it at any time, whereas the inverse is not possible without seeing all the dust, trash, and clutter. Toronto is a great city! Grew up relatively close to there (Detroit)
holy hell those are pricy monitors... nearly 4 grand EACH
What did you do with your old monitors? I need some momiters. I don't have any at all and just use my speakers on my laptop or use headphones and FL Studio. I just haven't been able to afford monitors. You know life happens...
Would be cool to Collab though!
I love your content
what are momiters?
go to guitarcenter.com and type "used lsr305" guitar center has really good deals on used equipement and all you got to do is typed used and then what ur lookin for i buy almost every thing used off of there . . .. and those jbl lsr305 are considered some of the best studio monitors in the world for the money. you can get them as little as 80 a piece, thats 160 for the pair.
@@amaurythewarrior WHAT ARE RETARDED 8 YEAR OLDS
Those genelecs though.. 🤤🙌
6:23 "It's just.... It's a lot"
We get in Andrew. With that delivery we fully understand that you want to wait with that one. x)
Epic studio! All the way down to the construction. Love it.
Relationships don't finish? You're a lucky man, Andrew.
They might end but they don't finish. Kinda like the Boston Marathon ended, but nobody finished.
you should do a revisit soon since its been a year
Hi, I'd like to move in?
I just got into the modular synth and it’s amazing.
Being an electronic music fan since the early 90s it’s refreshing af.
Colin Bender live set on the boat is AMAZING.
Also Kri Samadhi that can perform FULL SET of completely amazing Psytrance. He is unbelievable!
I’m Canadian and it’s great, totally agree. I’m from Montreal .
I really don’t think I need a studio this nice
now i know why i was sitting here all day with my hand in the air...
me who only records songs in my cabinet:

Love it,
Ya im Canadian. ... and its grate
Nice work and cool gear
Absolutely In love with the color theme of your studio
Is that the same mic, they use on swissbeatbox all the time? Looks exactly the same
DarkRedDust I’m a week late but yeah. For all of the shoutouts and stuff that’s the most common mic.
All those wires make it look like a space station
Love when you point out you're based in Toronto!
I like studios with vintage vibes like dark wooden rustic furniture and nice rugs und nice wooden diffusers.
When someone has this insane of a studio and STILL tells you that you can make music everywhere and with everything, you know it's true
Well, watch Virtual Riot and Au5 videos... I really do think they are more proficient in production than Andrew, Red Means Recording is more gifted at hardware synths usage, and Andrew is just a better blogger.
Me: Watches Linus Tech Tips
Andrew: The perfect segue to...
Me: Within 5 ms at the the L key ready to skip forward thirty seconds
their voices are really similar
Noooooo u mis-pronounced “neutrik”. It’s German so it’s pronounced like noy-trick. Just like Neumann is not “new man”
love u Andrew
[Clenches teeth, shakes fist and adopts Seinfeld voice] "Noyman!"
It's Fran-ken-STEEN!
He translated the German to English 'new tri(c)k', that's how much of a gentleman he is
Every video you release is just filled with enthusiasm and passion. Keep being you
A fake garage door? Bro, you’re sick. And you possess a dangerous mind😉. And I mean that in the best way! Your vids are serious fun, and when Netflix is boring, I know I can depend on the Huang-Man to cheer me up!
6:06 And I thought making music in Minecraft was complicated...
