    Excellent overview, you really did the Yanyan justice !
    A few additional points :
    - 12:40 The measured approach with 9 Nf3 is good but the most ambitious move 9 Nb5 deserves a mention as well. There are some flaws but Black can go badly wrong (cf. the study)
    - 1 e4 c5 2 c3 d5 3 Na3 dxe4 4 d3 Bf5 is quite an important option for Black that White should be aware of. The best answer is 5 Qa4+ (cf. the study)
    - 38:05 9 Nxd4 is actually a viable alternative. After 9...e5 10 Qe2 Bd6 11 f4 is quite tricky for Black to deal with, leading to equality if they manage not to go wrong.
    Overall great work ! Looking forward to the following installments !

    OMG ITS THE YANYAN GAMBIT (hmmm I wonder who made this gambit for som reason I feel like I met him before hmmm)
    edit1: btw the end line against the yanyan is not too scary you play bishop g3 first so there is no knight d5 and then go on with a simple plan of knight f3 and d4 well to be fair this line was not played before only against me on stream so no worries you prob will never face this! :)

      @@binbuk2 oh yeah that its because I had irregular high accurecy do to prep and then even the mod said if I cannot prove Im a title player then Im cheating cause I was not banned by the lichess cheating ban ai I was banned by a modderator and I apealed and he said that in his look an agent was used while I did not use one so,,,,, yeah also I was playing a streamer when I was banned and was winning Im curious if its because of that anyways I have a new lichess account right now but yea,,,, when I lost I had a kind of drop in accurecy so maybe because of that? welp it is what it is

      @@thejussie3452 Think you could be right about 3. e5 and 4.f4. If black accepts the gambit, Stockfish quickly thinks black is even or very slightly better. Yeah, maybe if you are a chess engine, but with d4, Nf3 and h4 moves, white gets quite a lot for his pawn, and certainly black is thrown off his normal game. Will be interesting to see what Graif has up his sleeve.

    • @Ebobster
      @Ebobster Месяц назад

      Not really a refutation as Black certainly does not have to play dxe as can’t even hold the pawn. More logical is just to develop

    There's a gambit in the Alipin if they respond with Nf6 instead of d5. Which is e5 Nd5 and then f4!

      No need to be sad. If you follow the upcoming recommendation, you will checkmate most of your opponents in (literally) 10 moves

  • @ศกรโสมาภา

    19:31 no no no. You don’t play Nf3 there. You sac the queen and plays Qxe6+. If they take the queen you checkmate with 2 bishop. If they block you at least have Nd6+ then take on f7 with one of your piece.
