The biggest weaknesses of this game so far, has been the events and modes imo. The staying power of this game is gonna be keeping it fresh and improving these. I'm already tired of doing Shadaloo City, I only do stage 2 and 3 when I'm REALLY bored. I do the weekly (beat stage 1 of SC 3 times) and that's it. The Guild activities aren't great either. There also isn't enough people playing arena for that to be fun. I'm in the top 100 consistently and my teams aren't even that great. At that point, the team power is way too large for me to even compete. So I basically just hit my weekly challenge which is about two arena matches per day. I'm running out of shit to do tbh. Just idle collecting and doing dailies and weeklies. Doing those other things have began to feel like chores already. Everywhere else, I'm at a brick wall. They have to add things to help progression. My play time is going down everyday because I simply cannot progress as much as I used to. In an industry where retention is the most important factor, this game is not doing that. Lastly, why are they making character versions already? There are so many SF characters, it is beyond stupid to have 2 versions of Cammy and Poison already when there are dozens of SF characters yet to be added. Sagat, Nash, Necro, Sean, Oro, Laura, G, Ed, Rashid, Kolin, Alex, Balrog, Birdie, the list goes on and on. Nope, lets add another Cammy and Poison. That's stupid. Fix it.
@@rokage73hello, a question ... I have the 4 main characters that I use at level 181, and consequently with the limit break also the other 17 except for ryu and ken who remain stationary at 160 and I cannot increase them because it says they are at the max level. .. possible that they remain so? Or is there a way to increase them too?
I just want to thank you rokage for all the awesome content you post. I would never have found all these awesome games. you deserve far more subscribers in my opinion keep it up
It is typical for game developers to add a “Coming Soon” mode that isn’t supposed to ever come to trick you into playing longer since you think the game is still growing.
About the p2w aspect i have something to say: Yes, if you spend thousands in this game, like every gacha in the world, you will have a much easier time, HOWEVER this game so far is really f2p friendly. I didn't spend a dime, i have all the characters except for the new cammy and fashion sakura, i'm at 22-11 and going up really consistently, i have 2 SSS characters (elena and mad ryu, the latter i don't use cause my dps is viper) and many SS+, my characters are level 200 and i have 3853k power total and a team of 1507k. I'm the n1 in the battle royale and about 3-5 in the arena. The only guys that consistently are above me in the arena have teams full of SSS with 5 stars, YET i'm still in an amazing and big spot for a f2p, so i would say that altough this game is p2w (like every game) it's still possible to be competitive as a f2p. At least in your channel.
I'd like to add, it's been since magala ken that i'm not pulling cause i'm waiting for akuma so i have 70k crystals and 101 purple coins, meaning that my account it's not even at the full potential that i can be with the free resources that this game delivers. I'm saying this for the people that will complain about the gap beetween f2p and p2w treating it like an "impossible" situation.
@@P2WGamersSuck exactly! You can't expect to be the best in the game for that, however depending on the rewards from being the top in the ladder you can expect to be the game more f2p or p2w. Street fighter is not pay to win oriented because you get like 100 gems a day for being n1 in arena and 1000 a week, wich is not that big of a jump or incredible difference in reward from the game. In battle Royale you get really good rewards but is a matter of "just play consistently" and you get a big chunk of rewards (never been below top 10 rewards). Most of the content in the game is pve so you just farm and get there. The hammer event is f2p and incredible to farm summon, the street event was f2p and gave even master/infernal characters, most of the gamala Ken event (excluding the summons) was f2p and gave a lot of rewards with the shop, even the guild event right now, winning the guild battle doesn't give much compared to the shop of the event, and most of the ticket are given for participation, number of tries and offering to the effigy that is all 100% f2p. The "impossible gap" doesn't make the game unplayable. What is irking me about the statement about p2w and f2p is that people genuinely think that they CANNOT play the game if they don't spend x amount of money, and that's stupid. I have 2 SSS, 4 SS+ and others SS, my characters are level 200, and I have 110 summon coins and 70k diamonds still, how can people possibly say that this game is p2w and not f2p friendly?
How much money will Honkai Star Rail make in the first month? 100 Mil or 200 like Genshin?😊 If every new character is infernal/master=14 copies needed from divination with 60er pity=420.000 gems to make the character vaible i skip them.

I agree with everything you've said and I'm afraid the devs will think the game is fine the way it is if the revenue is high.
Dude what about the naruto 3rd arena fighter, you did videos on. (can i get an update)
I already pointed it out after what happen with princess connect. It is short of iffy with this game since crunchyroll run this...
