Commandos 1 and 2 was very cleverly designed from a strategy perspective. You could analyse movements of the enemy and come up with a plan to kill them and move to next part of the mission. Commandos 3, although very difficult, is more action orientated than strategy wise. Half the missions you basically just look for some grenades and lure many nazis into a specific area and throw a grenade towards them, while in commandos 1 and 2 this was a big no-no
1) It's only 3 episodes (usually were 5 to 6) with 3 missions average each (makes 9 compared to the 20 of the first). 2) The missions are too short (there are at least 6 which can be done in less than 3 minutes). 3) There are very few tasks in each missions, making them too simple. 4) Lack of reaction between the enemy (if you shoot in a room, the next room will not hear it, means now you don't have to be quiet anymore. 5) The lack of missions with the whole commandos. I think the driver is not anymore, and only 1 mission has the marine (the shortest mission in the game after the 1st). In fact, you can win each mission using just one commando. There is only 1 mission which requiers the use of severals, which is the last of the "Eastern Europe" where you have to hold in a town the invasion (which is so simple you can do it at your first play, if you remember the basis you learned in the Commandos 2 tutorial) 6) The game lacks of build up to the grand finale. The last mission is a SINGLE commando one, and you don't have to blow anything, nor kill someone specifically, is just clean up mission. In fact, the "kill the traitor" mission has more of a grand finale look than the "normandy" one. The other games had the huge castle, the eiffel tower and the spionage in amsterdam........all having to use multiple commandos. 7) Most of the missions are just kill em all. There are non like "blow the dam" or "steal a tank". In fact, there are no tanks in this game to use. The only mission you do more than just that is the "kill the traitor" which if you wouldn't have to wait 15min for him to show, you can win it in 2 minutes. 8) the average time of previous commandos games, is around 20-30min per mission (commandos 2 is around 1 hour per mission after you already played it, having to play it at first, will be around 2hs each mission)......this one is 5min per mission at your first play. 9) in this game the weapons and tools are all hidden in boxes, there is not aymore things inside closets or nightables so you barely have to explore buildings. And I remember a mission where you have such amount of weapons in boxes, that you can kill them all with the sniper, there is no need to plan anything. Is too much action oriented than strategy. Like the 2nd mission of the first episode....you basically can hold the bridge forever throwing granades, or firebombs etc....also in previous games using the firebomb makes the enemy's weapons useless to take, in this one nothing happens.......like it that matters, because weapons make very little difference. All seems to cause the same damage. It does deserve the bad rap. The producers focused too much on improving the sfx, and forgot to develope the actual game.
Oh my god!! I always thought we have to take care of all those tanks too!
1 crazy sapper and 1 crazy diver doing fast run, nice work man and nice video resolution, here have my like

Absolutely amazing!
Nice
Very, very nice
That was really amazing, what was the level of difficulty.
Why does part 3 get a bad rap? It looks pretty good.

Those all sound very bad. Thanks
@@dudedude5526I thought C3 is the easiest Commandos.
Commandos 3 is by far the easiest game of the series!
