    A fantastic scene. Makes me love cinema more and more. You can mute the whole thing and still get the complete vibe of it.

    The lighter trick was so cool. There wasn't CGI back then. It fit the character, showing how his bored expression, his perfectly styled hair, the way he stood gazing out the window, were all part of his facade, practiced/rehearsed to project coolness.

    For those who have not noticed it, this scene refers to «My Life to Live» (Vivre sa vie), a film by Godard from 1962. The reference comes from the coffee scene when Nana is kissed by her pimp ! 😉
