Do the future job places know you had/ have a disability ? Because some places may not want to hire …

Of course they wouldn’t hire anyone like that.

I tried to get disability as I am physically unable to work. I was denied. Never talked to me, evaluated anything. Just denied because I had not met the 3 criteria. Not enough contributions to cpp for example. It’s basically a death sentence, with no way to have any income. I’ll likely be on the street within the year.

My husband worked for a caregiver company. They have no benefits, so what kind of insurance we need to contact if there is no insurance from the beginning?

Thanks you for this video but as somebody who struggles reading and understanding these things I keep looping back to I don't know what to do. I had a work place accident. Without medical clearance went back to work I gave it a go (thinking I did the right thing doing everything that was asked) now they won't cover me. Iv been off work for 9 months no wage. Wcb won't cover me saying it's my problem pretty much they won't help. I just want to cry

For most programs you need to be a worker and have paid into the various government programs or be enrolled in an insurance policy. If those don't apply, the only option is financial assistance provided by each Province.
