I agree. Very good interior design, more conventional. I like it much more than other BYD. I hope this car will sell in Europe, especially in France. I wish the car would also have a 800V battery architecture with LMFP battery cells that can also sustain 4C charging rate, to charge from 10% to 80% in less than ~15mn (like CATL ShenXing battery pack). And also bi-directionnal charging with Vehicule-to-Home (V2H) and Vehicule-to-Load (V2L) with 2 native 220V outlets (1 in the back seats, and one in the boot, with a possibility to let a electric cable going through the boot when the boot door is closed).
@@nicolasdujarrierit will not have any improved batteries or LMFP battery chemistry. This baby is like $14,000 usd (in china) for the 400 km HIGH end version. This is like a cheap Uber or a car intended for citizens of developing countries to be able to afford.
@@fredfrond6148 I understand. My wishes were for an entry price EV that would sell in Europe (in France) as a 2nd car. I would prefer some driver assist functions not to be included by default, and instead have the one I described : it would improve the convenience of the car…
@@nicolasdujarrier your requirements are very practical and I would also like to have all the items you describe. But I think this car is intended to make inroads into markets where customers have less income. In terms of the market/technology my opinion battery technology is changing soo fast and in two to three years,if you want to wait that long, we will have solid state (or semi solid state) batteries with 400 mile range at half the weight (weight is the current biggest drawback in my opinion).

@@neuspelBoth 800V with 4C battery cells and bi-directionnal charging with V2H would undoubtedly increase the selling price, but it would also make it stand out even more from the crowd by being the cheapest EVs with those useful features, and be compelling selling arguments.
That’s just a smartphone on wheels. Why would you like to drive a big piece of plastic that seem made by fisher price and will break down 60.000 miles later. 0 reliability, 0 dependency. Great price… but remember you get what you Pay for.
best interior of byd so far. no crazy curves or wacky air vents. just straightforward functional design. this is the one to get
