I think in the recent updates, tye text bg is not faint anymore bt dark.

I have an iPhone and I can’t make the colour translucent using the second method (for reel’s- the first one obviously works for stores but the buttons aren’t the same for reels)
i use android and I can't get the transparent to stretch/cover my entire screen in your 2nd method. it gets to a point i'm unable to stretch it further. why and how do i fix this?
Sorry about this. What about the first method…have you tried that one? Both methods work on Androids too. Don’t know why it’s not working for you? And with the second method, did you select the first font?

1. after typing "." And giving Space 10-15 times
2. press ENTER then again give Space
3. press ENTER again give Space.
Then you can easily cover the whole screen with that transparent text box.
Let me know if you still face any issue.

For me, the picture is disappearing and not coming in transparent background. Can you help??? I am doing exactly what you are showing in video, but this trabsparent background not coming, instead whole color is coming that is making photo not visible.

@@Janettaampofo yes , but i somehow found another alternative way to expand it
I kept on pressing space bar till it made three or four lines and then i was able to expand....

In my case the font see through effect is not working its turning out black no matter what I do, so please tell me how to make it back to a see through effect through font. 😢😢
Oh no! Sorry about that. It’s because you selected the pen tool. That’s why it’s not see through. Tap on the eraser icon at the top, choose your color and that should give you the transparent effect. Let me know if you’re still struggling with it.
