Adam your mom and dad were a great looking couple.......... what happened to you ? Lol just kidding I can definitely say the apple didn't fall far from tree with your humor and your dad's.
I live in Kansas City and watch your videos every day. I will let you know once this building has been completed so you can come check it out. So exciting!!!!!
Adam, your mom and dad are cute what happened to you? LOL (just kidding) Great fun. Hope you are remembering this and documenging all of this Your dad is a hoot...
I hope you know how important this series is to people and that you are helping people connect with their parents in meaningful ways before it’s to late to do so. Top work Adam! And much love to your dad
Adam your dad has the best laugh, the funniest stories and the best memory, I'll be sad when these vlogs are over, your dad is such a truly lovely person x
It blows my mind when I return and stand on the spot of somewhere from my youth. We should all do it at least once to appreciate how far we have come. Cheers Adam
@@mandymorrow5473 Yes, Adam has said in the past he plans to do more road trips around the country so why not take his father on one of them a year. His father does well in these vlogs though I am not surprised given his background.
Adam, I want to thank you for these videos. They are bringing back a flood of memories of my dad, now deceased, and the rides we did around with him telling me stories of the past at different locations. I'm loving this series.
What a delightful series this is. Your Father is something special! You are so lucky to have been raised by such a loving good man who let you be yourself. Thank you for taking us along on this journey to the past.
This whole trip you’ve taken with your dad I’ve been following and loving! It makes me miss my dad in heaven with Our Lord Jesus Christ. This is fantastic. Thank you so much for documenting a trip of father and son love!
Well said, Ed. All the while watching Adam and Father, it has "appreciate your parents while you have them" written all over it. Adam's father is a gem, no doubt about that. What a great guy and so cute to see how compatible they are in likes, sense of humor, etc. "I'm having this burger and Dad is having a banana split"...loved it! May God generously bless them both.
I lost track of how many times I replayed Papa woo coming out of the state sign 😄😄 God bless you both. What a wonderful series , and incredible relationship between you. It's been quite the awesome ride.
“ some of the politicians are still in the jail “ 😂😂 this series has literally been nothing short of incredible!! So sweet , historic, and incredibly funny !!
This father and son travel together is so heart warming my parents both died in 2002 we never got to go on any trips due to their health problems and Financial problems but boy would’ve I loved to Adamthewoo enjoy each and every single second, minute , day, month and year you get time with your amazing dad
I lost my father when I was 19, and my mother when I was 26. I am 50 now. Adam, you are truly blessed to have both your parents. I really enjoy watching you and your dad take this journey together. You two make a great team!
You guys did pretty well playing catch. You had some popping of the mitts. That's awfully cool that you two signed the shed that Mickey Mantle used to use as a backstop. Thanks for sharing. Your dad's Yogi story is an instant classic.
You’re traveling in an area so close to my heart! Family still lives in Miami, OK, Pryor, Ok and Joplin, MO. Were from Treece, KS, Baxter Springs, KS, Columbus, KS and Seneca, Mo. My grandparents and their friends were friends with Mickey Mantle. My grandma shopped at the grocery store named Consumers. Remember it? Happy Trails to you, dear gentlemen. 😃
@@erica.e.emily1 I had it a couple years ago somewhere in missouri on the way back from Branson. Was the first time in like ten years. Great ice cream 🍧🍧🍧
I just became fascinated with that video store so I found it on Google Maps and looked up reviews. I think it might still be in business. I was unable to find a webpage or any social media, but I did find a few reviews, the most recent one from a year ago. If it isn't in business currently, it was a year ago. Wow.
Enjoyed roads trips with your Dad...visited so many former homes of famous people and Lorraine Motel in Memphis. I was born 1948 and MLK Jr was shot when I was in college. My biological grandfather born in Tupelo MS....moved to Oklahoma and resided for many years in Kansas. Your Dad has a great spirit and is a fun person. God Bless!
Great stuff as usual. Love watching you and your dad laughing together. My dad was 47 when I was born, I never got the opportunity to make a trip through memory lane with him, so it's kind of special watching you guys.
Adam-Your Father & Mother are amazing parents. I can now see how you grew up to be a nice man who has a gift of storytelling & love of history & nostalgia. Enjoying your memories!💕
Adam you are blessed with a great Dad , I was too and It breaks my heart thinking of people who aren't as fortunate as us .This trip will never leave your memory. One great experience.
This has definitely been a great road trip of memories with your father one we've totally have enjoyed and laughed alot with your memories. Nice watching you and your dad playing catch.
I've enjoyed getting to see all of your pictures from the past too. The pictures of you being a toddler are so cute. Thank you guys for sharing them with us and taking us along on your trip.
Adam, when you were just a little one, you looked like Tim and Jen Tracker's son, Jackson! We love seeing your vlogs - brings back memories of a simpler life!
This is my favorite video yet. I only found this channel a couple of weeks ago and it is my favorite. This one reminded me of living on a farm when I was 11, 12, & 13 my 4 sibs. and i would fix up a 12 ' long board for see saw, then would stand on it and jump one another up to about 8' feet into the air. the lord was good to us.
I met Mickey Mantle back in 1979 in Philadelphia when he was a spokesperson for La-z-boy. He signed two of his cards that I had. I still have them and will never get rid of them. Never saw him play but had heard about him numerous times over. Fun to see his house. I read his autobiography back in the mid 70s. Great story.
Another awesome run down memory lane!! I’m afraid I wouldn’t even get a whole episode from my childhood! Only lived in 2 places and my dad still owns my childhood home! I was born in 74 as well!!
Thank you for sharing these memories. You and your dad make me feel like I was a part of your family through your storytelling. I’m so inspired to get my family together to do our own memory lane road trip.
I babysit full-time so I've been binge watching your channel a lot. I have to say this one is my favorite. I love how you and your dad are just walking down memory lane. It's awesome. I'm sorry he could not get into the church
I love how your Dad popped out from behind the Oklahoma sign! You two are having such fun together reminiscing. It will be a trip that you will remember forever!
I am so enjoying this series. How wonderful you are doing this trip with your Dad. It has given me an idea to do with my Dad which is around the same age of your father. God Bless your travels.
I'm really loving these stories. I got to experience the 1989 San Francisco earthquake first hand. I lived south of San Francisco and we felt it there too. Scary. Thank you for sharing your wonderful stories.
Words cannot express how much I am enjoying this video series. What a blessing to witness such an epic Father/Son Road trip. To see so many small towns, the heartbeat of the USA so touching.
It’s fun reminiscing! I forgot I had a rocking horse too when I was younger. Was that a seventies thing? Aww the toys and playground equipment kids don’t play with today. Classic😊
Papa Woo is a star of RUclips! hope you are able to do others. I am sure you enjoyed spending time with pop again. Glad to see you kept your father out of trouble LOL or did he keep you out of trouble?
Loved seeing you and your Dad playing catch at Mickey Mantles' former home. My grandparents lived near Miami. When I go back to Miami, I eat at Waylan's Ku-Ku burgers. Sometimes we drive to Joplin, just to eat at Fazoli's. I love that you are doing this for posterity!
When your dad said where you guys were in 1989 I thought I wonder where he was when he heard about the SF earthquake. Then he actually mentioned it! Interesting for me because I was living in San Francisco at the time. I was watching one of those old VHS tapes like you saw, about to turn it off and go to the game on TV when at 5:04pm and 30 seconds (yes I remember exactly) I heard this low rumble like I had never heard before. I stood up and my little apartment started rocking. 2 days without power or water followed. And the rest is history!
Adam, I’ve been following you for several years. For me, this has been your best work on so many levels. But to have this window into the lives of your lovely, loving family, it’s priceless.
As a native Oklahoman, this was a great walk back to some of my own family roots. Spent many summers in the Miami/Commerce area and still go back often. Family connections to childhood memories are like no other. Blessings to you and your dad.
You're Dad is a doll. I loved seeing you and your Dad sharing memories together and making new ones. This reminds me of going on road trips with my grandmother who was my best friend. By far the best road trip you've ever done. Laughing your guts out with your dad along the way. The matching up of the old photos. The stuff dreams are made of and I'm neither of you will ever forget that quality time together.
