I LOVE working at home. So much more efficient, quiet and pleasant.

This isn't about working from home, it's the massive amount of layoffs that have been occurring the last two years. It's getting worse as Big Tech and Big Media implode. This is what a Depression looks like, kids....

Expensive leases, parking sucks, homeless and violent crime. Yeah, I can see why nobody wants to lease office space there.

Banks loosing money, workers saving money. Can't say I'm shedding a tear.

Just driving to work is a drag especially if it's more than 10 miles. The only time I go is if I needed to go for meetings and other assignments, or because they're other amenities I use that are around the building like the market or gym.

Convert empty office space to housing.

Convert what they can into apartments or condos. The rest will need to be flattened.

HAHAHAAH. These building owners often refinance their building at 100% and took out the cash. I take it now its the banks problems. I would not feel sorry for the owners they came out well.

If you ask real estate developers and their institutional investors, we need even MORE commercial RE. They're hoping taxpayers bail them out once again...

The tax base is going down the drain. High gas prices, traffic, teleworking, homeless people in downtown, bail reform, juvenile justice reform, car theft, no prosecution of criminal behavior. What could possibly go wrong 🤔?????? Great news for homeowners you will fill the tax gap 😉 in LA County. Watch your property taxes WILL go up as a fee.

affordable housing or mega cheap apartments with actual security instead of only high end luxury apartments but no one wants to invest in that housing isnt important , office space is

Really simple way to combat this. Make everyone go back to the office. Or AT MINIMUM go to the office 3 days a week. I believe it’s the way it should be. We worked in an office 5 days a week for how many decades? No reason you can’t go back. I see it as being lazy and not wanting to leave your house and be social.

@@theoutcast3292 well, just like California, they use migrant workers for crops, as to finishing projects we are within a few months of finishing a high speed rail line from Miami to Orlando. It took only 5 years to build, and was paid for with private money, no taxpayer dollars. Look up the California high speed rail debacle to see how not to do it.
